Still not sure why we had not long ago made it practice to purchase the same prescription drugs from CANADA (and some othe countries) at substantially reduced prices! In fair market competition that would have DROPPED the prices locally to compete with those Canadian imports.
Can't tell me that a drug priced (for costs + fair profit) at $13.50 per pill could jump over 5000% in a few years in the US. Canadians are willing to sell that EXACT SAME DRUG to AMericans for CHEAP!!
