The economy is booming.
5 reasons that could change in 2022
New York (CNN Business)
The US economy is heading into 2022 with serious momentum.
The recovery gained steam in the last few months, capping off what could be the fastest year of GDP growth since 1984, when Ronald Reagan was in the White House.
The hope is this rapid expansion continues in 2022, allowing the country to heal most of the economic wounds caused by the health crisis in 2020 under the Trump administration. The jobs market could return to full employment by the end of 2022. And red-hot inflation is expected to finally cool off, moving towards healthier levels.
Solid positive news!
And for all of USA, not just one side.....

WHY DO WE NOT WANT TO TREAT PEOPLE WHO ARE SICK??? ASK YOURSELF THIS???
Why would the Federal government RESTRICT monoclonal antibody treatments in TEXAS AND FLORIDA???
If you don't know the answer to this then you shouldn't be talking about politics. The government is once again sacrificing the TREATMENT of sick Americans for political gain.... and yeah, that's a surprise, that's never been done before

If this will help then I'm all for it as well. But it remains to be seen before I'll give the thumbs up.

@baish2012
news flash....IT WON'T HELP.... this is similar to the gas situation when everyone praised President Poopy Pants for tapping barely a month's supply of the strategic oil reserves as a move to lower gas prices. That was a joke just as this is a joke.
the same clown show praising how that would lower gas prices is doing the same here with just another industry. The meat industry is just like every other in America, it is a CARTEL.... the sheeple here just take whatever is given to them and don't question or look into the reality of the world themselves. If they did, they would know it is part of the GOVERNMENT'S responsibility to regulate fair markets. Meat industry is just anther Cartel comprised of a handful of powerful players. Regulate their asses and create some REAL change.
The meat industry will tell you it's because of labor or some BS and that their prices are higher so they must sell for higher. That is absolute BS as those same companies are setting RECORD profit margins.
Inflation is a real thing but you know what else is real? The fact that every corporate sector of American business (except Finance) have posted RECORD, RECORD PROFIT MARGINS these last 2 quarters.... you don't hear about that though huh do ya.

The bill would provide billions in funding for manufacturing and R&D grants, invest heavily in advanced manufacturing and semiconductor research, establish public-private partnerships focused on the development of advanced microelectronics, and secure supply chains.

Today, for many US companies, it's simply not financially competitive to produce semiconductors domestically. Chipmakers can face more than a 30% cost disadvantage when making semiconductors in the US instead of Asia. This has driven a steady decline in America's share of global semiconductor manufacturing, which has dropped from 37% in 1990 to 12% in 2020. Europe's share has dropped from 44% to just 9% in the same time frame. Without government action, we cannot reach our ultimate goal of a globally balanced silicon capacity and a resilient supply chain -- which is significantly driving inflation here.
So far, this bill has secured strong bipartisan support in the Senate.

By design, the CHIPS for America Act incentivizes semiconductor companies to make major investments in the US economy and jobs. Combined public and private sector investment would substantially expand US chip production and open the door to thousands of jobs in construction, manufacturing and R&D. For example, research shows that each job at Intel is estimated to support 13 additional American jobs. Building one semiconductor manufacturing mega site is akin to building a small city, which brings forth a vibrant community of supporting services and suppliers.

It's been quite first year for the Joe Biden presidency.
After whupping the twice-impeached trump by gaining a record number of votes...
- immediately hit the ground running with "Operation Ludicrous Speed".... got the vaccines [specifically engineered only to combat the then dominant Wuhan-Strain of covid] mass produced, distributed and injected at incredible speed, saving hundreds of thousands of American lives!

The semiconductor issue is surprisingly bigger than 99% of our people realize.
We have to get these produced here. We can't be relying on overseas supply chains for this critical product.
