Perhaps more important are the marked change in his disapproval numbers.

The mean avg of polls was in the mid to high 50s disapproval before Putin invaded Russia.

Today it is down to a mean avg of exactly 50 pts.

Joe's getting things done in spite of people like Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) who by himself has put a hold on six U.S. attorneys and two U.S. marshals, and, as a consequence, their posts remain vacant during this period of time. 

Talk about not supporting law enforcement...........sheeeeeet!

Biden reverses 'reckless wrongs' ordered by Trump

The Biden administration on Wednesday restored California's authority to set its own tailpipe emission standards for cars and light trucks, reversing a policy put in place by former President Donald Trump.

"Today we proudly reaffirm California's long-standing authority to lead in addressing pollution from cars and trucks," EPA Administrator Michael Regan said. "With today's action, we reinstate an approach that for years has helped advance clean technologies and cut air pollution for people not just in California, but for the U.S. as a whole."

Trump had revoked California's ability to set its own auto pollution standards, a move that also prohibited other states from implementing them.

Because so many vehicles are sold in California, the state has tremendous sway over the industry, as well as over other states in the nation. At least 15 states and the District of Columbia had followed California's lead in adopting tougher vehicle air pollution standards than were in place federally, the Associated Press reported.
As of 2019, the transportation sector accounted for 29 percent of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S., the EPA says

Biden has a long history of supporting police.  In the 1990s, his crime bill added almost 100,000 officers to police forces in the US.  In 2022 budget, increase of over $300 million for community police.  He encourages cities to use America rescue plan funding for police programs.

Joe is a sellout.  He only cares about himself,his party, his wallet.  And yes , that's most politicians ..on all sides.

Additionally, in yet another speech recently repeating what he has stated before, he said "it's not about DEfunding the police but, FUNDING the police"  (paraphrased;  meaning he rejects DEfunding and supports FUNDING more)

 In test of leadership, Biden adminstration deserves credit for handling of Russian invasion crisis.  US has correctly made the strongest response possible without risking world war III.  By depoliticizing the issue, Biden has build a coalition of bipartisan support in congress and NATO.  When invasion started, sanctions for Russia and aid for Ukraine are quickly implemented.  For future historians, obvious presidential competence demonstrated in crisis management, moral authority, congress relations and foreign relations.

Senate passes $1.5 trillion
government funding bill
with Ukraine aid

WASHINGTON, (Reuters)
      The U.S. Senate approved legislation providing
$1.5 trillion to fund the federal government through Sept. 30
and to allocate $13.6 billion to aid Ukraine.

The Democrat bill passed in a bipartisan 68-31 vote,
one day after the House of Representatives approved the package.

President Joe Biden is expected to sign the bill into law,
averting agency shutdowns ahead of the midnight Friday
deadline when existing U.S. government funds expire.

"We're keeping our promises to support Ukraine
as they fight for their lives against the evil Vladimir Putin,"
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said

Positive steps for the future

Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled a series of measures
that the Biden administration is taking to reduce air pollution
and the greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change.
    In an event at the White House, where Harris was joined by
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Environmental
Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan, the administration
announced two sets of actions:
-  investments in low-emission and zero-emission buses for public transit systems and school districts,
-  and new EPA rules to reduce pollution from trucks.

According to CNN, Biden administration has renewed the "Violence against women act" which lapsed years ago.  This legislation protects and supports survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.

“Our transportation sector has reached a turning point,”
“We have the technology to transition to a zero-emission fleet.
Our administration is working together, all of us, to make that
possibility a reality. We can address the climate crisis and
grow our economy at the same time,” Vice-President Harris said.

Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which President Biden signed last fall, the Department of Transportation will spend $1.1 billion in funding this year to help state and local governments buy U.S.-built electric transit buses and other cleaner models.

Saw this on 60 Minutes Sunday with the Secretary of Transportation discussing the infrastructure plans of Joe's administration.

Thanks for that!  Will check it out now.   Mayor Pete is a good fit in that cabinet position.  Though he would be just as good in any number of other cabinet posts or inside the WH.
