If you say NO, then you believe in universal health care.
Bottom line.
Only question is whether you want all that health care administered in the ER or administered more efficiently and effectively otherwise.
people want to help people get healthcare, but if in the process they get fucked themselves, then they wont want to help. The public option is going to screw over 100 million plus, all in the name of helping the people who dont got healthcare. Yeah that seems fair
How about those people without healthcare get off their asses and go try earning their own healthcare, instead of taking from others who earned it themselves.

sorry pal my policy has been paid for by me over the years, so get your friggin facts right before you bash somebody.
We all took major tradeoffs to get that healthcare. Pay cuts, less vacation days, less comp days, and we all pay a portion of the insurance.
Sorry but am not some free loader like your ass is. All you guys who want the public option are all to lazy to go out and earn your own healthcare, you just want a free ride.

I mean, that is completely true. If someone takes the position that we shouldn't be caring for anyone without healthcare, fine, but we lose a little of the moral highground that we claim. That and what do we do with all the windows and children who suddenly now cannot support themselves?
I am sympathetic to the anger at people who have the means and don't use those means to obtain coverage or support themselves or their families. I don't like paying for them anymore than anyone else. I guess I would rather do so, however, then to try and create some "bright" line for those who "haven't" out of choice as opposed to those who "haven't" out of happenstance. In other words, when the guy enters the emergency room, how do we distinguish him as the lazy, live off others person from the guy who lost his job of 20 years three months before and no longer has health insurance. Or what about the guy doing everything we ask, working three jobs to support his family, none of which offers insurance?
It makes it difficult to distinguish which makes our current system unfeasible, because we all end up paying for those that receive care they cannot pay or afford.
