The Border Patrol union is slamming President Biden’s trip to El Paso, Texas, on Sunday amid reports that state and local authorities have ramped up detentions and cleaned up much of the migrant encampments in the area ahead of the visit.
"El Paso being cleaned up as if nothing unusual ever happened there," the National Border Patrol Council tweeted Friday. "Just in time for Biden's ‘visit to the border.’"
"We suggest just landing in Des Moines, Iowa and telling him it's El Paso. He'll never know the difference," the union wrote.
Funny how the GOP has had control of the executive branch, both branches of Congress - TWICE - in recent memory yet FAILED to pass any meaningful immigration reform.
Why? They don’t want to fix it. It’s too valuable an issue. So they dance around and deploy all kinds of idiotic bad faith ideas. You could give the GOP 100 years in power and it’d still be the status quo at the border.

News flash today;
A batch of records from President Biden's time as Vice President, including a number of documents with classified markings, were discovered at the Penn Biden Center by the president's personal attorneys on Nov. 2, according to Richard Saubel, special counsel to the White House.
The attorneys found the documents in a locked closet while preparing to vacate office space at the center, which the president used from mid-2017 until he began the 2020 campaign.
Biden surprised about documents and doesn't know what's in them.
Soooooo, over two months ago documents found in an office used by Biden were taken by his lawyers to the Archive's and they apparently never called Biden first, told him what they found in his former office?
And then 2 months later the event is released to the press.
