This thread isnt about Trump but if you watch him on these snoozer pressers he reads from a paper its so easy to see when he cant help himself and he has to improvise to lie and distort information. It is like his nose wrinkles and he squints trying to think of that adjective he can toss in to improve the spin on what he is reading...its all improv and its all lies.

Leaders do not need to add lies and improvise to make themselves look better. Leaders do not need pats on the back and media acceptance. If you are telling me that I am misinformed, as in I am wrong about the left and media constantly attacking him, then you are misinformed and have been under a rock for 4 years.  

You have this backwards, Trump as a person has been attacking and abusing people for decades..he is the one who decided to enter politics and with specifically THIS position there is a requirement of respect and leadership for the person in the role. Trump is none of that...he feels entitled and at the same time he is mega sensitive but try and call him out on his abuses and you will be personally attacked.

A leader needs to be above petty attacks but there is rarely a public appearance that Trump does not attack even when the person is doing nothing but asking a question or asking for clarification. He is never the better person always whining and complaining and blaming. Maybe we have been spoiled with having relatively classy leaders in my lifetime...then came that big fat loser Trump, the most classless leader and one of the worst I have come across.

This is going to be a time in history where americans should be grateful not to have crooked hillary in office, or creepy joe...having a crazy mad man like Trump is exactly what the world needs to stand up to the CCP...why? hillary and biden would only be looking to line their pockets with chinese currency...meanwhile Trump is his own man and cant be bought.

Trump cant be bought? I think you are greatly missing the boat on this one. He has his agenda and his honey pots the same as all politicians. You are not a yank but I think you missed the fine print about the tax breaks for his businesses via the lodging industry...I think it was something like 50 billion in tax breaks and his companies and that schmuck Jared will greatly benefit.

Dont fool yourself, Trump is as dirty and corrupt as Hills...where are his income taxes and where are the Epstein island tapes when Trump visited? I agree with you on all the crap he does. There is no doubt he is an asshole and lacks real class. The things he does were needed to be tough in business and by now they just stuck with him. You may think I am a huge Trump supporter, I am not. I am just on the right and believe he is a better option than what the left has offered in 2016 and now in 2020 by far. I truly believe if the Democrats put out a solid nominee we could see them beat Trump and swing some repubs like they sort of did in 2008, or at least swung a lot of people I know as repubs to vote for Obama. I think we are at a point where if we could restart the whole political scene we wish we could. New Dems and new repubs. Both sides are falling apart every year and that is why we see and will continue to see random business men come in and try to run for office. I feel Trump has many good qualities and could be a solid supporting role, maybe not as the head guy.

My prediction for a while now has been peaking in U.S. 4/15, petering out (Phase 1) by early to mid-May.  What I have learned recently is "the count" is worthless it will never be accurate, a little more accurate are the deaths and recovered, possibly the # critical. Assuming no failure in healthcare infrastructure my predictions were 40k dead in U.S. by 4/15 (peak) and 80k dead by 5/1.  If we start to see catastrophic failure in the healthcare system, run out of ICU beds and/or ventilators and/or medical staff then my numbers increase by a factor of 1.5 to 2.

This recently hit home, I know of two people (1 personally) affected by this virus, a coworker I have worked with for 5 years, his dad has it, also my cousin who got it from his boss who is now dead.  My cousin has been given hydrochloroquine and it seems to be helping, he is still on a ventilator but having kidney issues and problems urinating, he is a year younger than me, but obese with diabetes.  80% of those hospitalized (in Netherlands I believe) are obese.

For anyone that has been following the financial market it is quite eye opening, yes there was a big decline, but for the past week it is acting like it has hit a bottom, even though there has to be 5-10 million unemployed at this point and many businesses in danger of going bankrupt.  The amount of QE infused into this market is unprecedented so much so big investment banks have no fears they are getting the money they need to prop it up, the bond market investors are forced to invest in stocks since bonds have very little value given the amount of QE in the system.  I've been trying to call a crash, but at this point I have to go long on my investments since the market is showing no signs of collapse, companies reporting earnings this week are just omitting guidance for the future from their calls.  I was looking to buy an apartment here in Vegas but who knows where prices will settle when this situation stabilizes, my lease is up in a month and decided I am just going to rent a place in the luxury building I was looking to buy and see if I like it there and if I like where the prices end up. 

I am fortunate my job is safe, I have been working from home for 5 years.  A friend of mine who is a bartender, hasn't paid her taxes in the past +5 years so she is ineligible for the stimulus at a minimum and likely won't see a nickle of the +$600/wk being added to unemployment, I am not exactly sure how that works (is it tax return dependent?) if anyone knows, please let me know so I can pass it on to her.

Would a President Biden have eliminated the White House pandemic office set up by the Obama/Biden administration in order to prepare for situations like now? No!

Would a President Biden have ignored early warnings from his HHS Secretary and others who learned about the pandemic from Chinese officials on January 3? Would a President Biden have ignored what the National Center for Medical Intelligence (NCMI) was telling him about the pandemic in mid-January? In both cases, I don't think so!

Would a President Biden have characterized the pandemic and what the media and opposing party politicians were saying about it as a "hoax"? I don't think so!

After the CDC encountered manufacturing problems with their test, would a President Biden have failed to request Covid-19 test kits from the WHO, Germany and other countries? I strongly believe he would have asked for these!

Would a President Biden have ordered FEMA to hoard supplies that some states (like here in New York) either need urgently right now or will need shortly? No bleeping way!

Would a President Biden in effect demand that governors speak to him in flattering terms in order to receive help? No, unlike Donald Trump, Joe Biden's not a vindictive SOB!

Biden presents his plan for dealing with the Coronavirus on his web site. If you read through it, you'll see that it's far more comprehensive and detailed than anything Trump has presented or implemented. I can't imagine that it would not produce better outcomes than what's currently happening.
