They do not. Multiple studies before and during Wuhan show just the opposite. Remember we went over this back when the mask mandates started. Additional data and studies since have only reinforced this.

"Misinformation that myocarditis was more common after the infection than [after] the vaccine. Not true, it is 4-28 times more common after the vaccine.
False to claim myocarditis risk is higher for covid vaccination than from infection according to fact check by Agence France press. Far more studies show myocarditis is more common after infection. Rare exception is a Nordic study published in British medical journal which has been misinterpreted on social medial. Actually, author didn't compare myocarditis risks of infected and vaccinated people. Worldwide health authorities continue to recommend vaccination because benefits outweigh rare risks. About one per 100,000 vaccinated persons experience myocarditis. In the US, no one has died from vaccine myocarditis but there has been over a million covid deaths.

Why the fuk would anyone bump this thread now, unless there is severe mental retartation associated with such a person. To both of you halftwit jackoffs above: GTFOOH and take your useless debate elsewhere.
Real simple. Even the media is pointing out some of this stuff now. So, very good to bring it up again.
For example:
"Seeing how important this issue is, The People's Champ [image from unapproved source] has decided to bring over all the conent from https://www.covers.com/forum/viewthread/103432344/covid-19the-reality-is to this forum.
All opinions matter, whether they are right or wrong, whether they are extremely left, right or somewhere in between, whether they are scientifically proven, edivence based, antecdotal, or hodge podge conspiracy theories (we can always use a good laugh from the tinfoil mad hatters).
However, all bullshitt will be called out by TPC.
Opinions matter, but science and facts matter more."
Unless you just want to give up and not hold misinformation by the media/politicians accountable.

Nobody here wants to be reminded just how accurately I called it,,,and I'm not a I told you so guy type of punk ass...go start a new thread and have your jollies among your own jerkstore sellouts.
Plus, if you're still on either side of the covid online troll thing, you should conduct an immediate inventory of your life and priorities...Unless you want to live in the past and be left behind with all the other moupes, then that's alright with me and the rest of civilization.
Go do something about it in the real world, go make a difference in your immediate community, go volunteer, whatever,,,anything is better than virtue signaling a dead horse issue.
If you feel so deeply about all the lies and misrepresentation, join Qanon's public class action lawsuit headed by whatever quack is claiming to be their leader in 2023.
In the meantime, kick rocks.

It was not all about you just because you started the thread. It was just about the only thread that never got too political. But you are right, everyone has their mind made up by now and will not be swayed. But this was the appropriate thread to post it in. Carry on.

I completed my own study over a year ago. Using Our World in Data state by state numbers.
From early August of 2021 to February 2022 several states had mask madates and vaccination mandates for indoor gatherings such as resturants. New York, California, and Illinois had strick mask mandates and vaccine mandates during that 6 month time period.
The numbers of reported COVID infections per 100,000 residents;
California; 10,065 cases per 100,000
New York; 13,372 cases per 100,000
Illinois; 11,060 cases per 100,000
The rest of the U.S. 10,918 per 100,000
Texas; 9,051 per 100,000
Florida; 10,684 per 100,000
That is a 6 month period, not cherry picked data from a few weeks. NOTHING stands out at all. From mask/vaccine mandated states to states totally opened the numbers are basically the same.

vaccinated and boosted 2 x plus taking vitamins C & D daily before vaccines availble i avoided infections and im a diabetic and 69 yrs old
Glad to here it! Do what you feel is best for you I say.
I waited til Sept of 2021, took the J&J as I was traveling across country. Would not take the Mrna shots, just didn't trust them. Never boostered. In my early 60's with below normal lung capacity.
Caught COVID last July. A few days nasty as hell but got over it. My entire family has had COVID, sisters, kids, grandkids. A few vaxed, most not. Everybody fine.
The government cannot stop gun violence, cannot stop drug use, why would anyone expect them to stop a virus. There was a reason Cumo and Whitmer put recovering patients in nursing homes. It was in the Obama era CDC playbook. Not blaming Obama, no our "experts" saw H1N1 didnt affect the elderly so put overflow in nursing homes. Obviously short-sighted thinking. Saw a CDC publication back in 2014 bragging how they had a stockpile of masks and ventilators ready for the next pandemic. We all saw how that played out. Early on the CDC was the only one authorized to come up with a COVID test, they failed and after weeks of wasted time the private sector was called in.
Believe the vaccine was very effective for the original virus it was made for. The mean age of COVID deaths is like 78 yrs old. So the vaccine should have targeted that age group and those with comorbidities. Somehow there was this belief it would stop infection entirely. Not true. In May of 2021, Minnesota reported just over 10% of positives were the fully vaccinated and 44% of the adult population was vaxed at that time. It just got worse as variants took over such as Delta and Omicron.
So let's talk variants. Both the CDC and Fauci expressed concerns in the winter of 2021 that a variant could undo all the work the vaccine did. Delta was identified in India in December, 2020. The UK was having huge problems with Delta in spring of 2021. So way did not our govt. try to prevent the Delta variant from entering the United States?? Politically Trump was blamed for not stopping the original virus. Why was Biden not blamed for failing to stop the new variant as it slowly tracked across the globe? Afterall the concern was mentioned that a variant could "undo" all that was acomplished. Nothing was done and Delta was first detected in Texas, May of 2021. On July 19th of 2021 the UK announced that 40% of their hospitalizations were the fully vaccinated due to Delta. On July 21st both Biden and the CDC said get vaccinated and you won't get hospitalized. Why did they ignore the UK warning and go completely in the opposite direction? "Pandemic of the unvaccinated" was the cry.
