This "obviously kidding" thing and McEnany's "that's not what he meant" have gone on long enough. His attitudes and his mouth say what they mean and all the backtracking in the world does not erase what he said. There is no "I am being sarcastic" or joking look on his face when he says these things. If so, then concede you are the worst stand up comic in history. The man is exactly what he appears to be, not what someone explains later. Even BS has limits. The tweet storm has not yet begun. I can hardly wait.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

Ever since the coronavirus began its deadly march through the US, Donald Trump has been accused of lacking the empathy presidents typically draw on to lead and soothe a nation in crisis.
This week the question of presidential compassion was a consistent storyline.
You could pick your lyrics: Was the President like the Tin Man from the "Wizard of Oz," plaintively singing, "If I only had a heart." Or was he suffering from, as the 80s hit song put it, "a total eclipse of the heart"?
We saw a President who slammed the Supreme Court for blocking his effort to subject 650,000 Dreamers to deportation. He also bemoaned the court's historic ruling Monday that LGBT people can't be fired because of their sexuality. His former national security adviser John Bolton claimed in a book excerpt that Trump had encouraged China's leader to set up concentration camps for the Uyghur minority. He plowed ahead with a non-socially distanced rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, even as coronavirus cases mounted

Joe Biden has assembled a planning team to assist the former vice president in having a smooth transition to the White House next year should he defeat President Trump in November.
Biden tapped former Sen. Ted Kaufman, D-Del., to lead the early transition team efforts. Kaufman was appointed to fill out Biden's senate seat when he became vice president and also led Biden's transition team in 2008 and 2009.
Kauffman said they are in "very early stages of pre-transition planning" to ensure a Biden Administration is prepared to immediately tackle the many challenges facing America right now

Ok here is the break down of why such a low turnout number.
Oklahoma has a criminal code to make every citizen a felon. Trump threatens a crack down by police and few want to show up ... Corona virus the waiver if you got sick. Tje fact he is now seen as ignorant unfeeling numbers guy.
Governor Fallin, for her part, declined to return the survey, instead sending a strongly-worded letter criticizing Rep. Biggs’ actions during and since the regular legislative session. (OK Policy was also invited to complete the survey, but declined to do so.) But the content and length of the survey are striking in themselves, revealing an increasingly sprawling criminal code that could make a felon out of just about any Oklahoman.
Once convicted of a felony you lose your right to vote. This ia how they suppress voters in the ok dokie state.

Tulsa fire department estimates 6200 people attending rally in facility with 19,000 seating capacity in a state where Trump won by a big margin in 2006 election. Previously, delusional Trump claims almost a million people signed up for rally. In disappointing low turnout, dose of reality reveals Trump's silent majority is really a minority and smaller than imagined.

Tomorrow the Tulsa Fire Department will be labeled a terrorist, Democratic association of liars. By sleight of hand the count will suddenly be full house, standing room only, thousands outside unable to get in. It will all just be a matter of who you listened to.

One thing President Trump accomplished during his rally last night was....he got many Democrats and nevertrumpers to watch his rally...as verified by members here in the forum who joined in Official in-game..Why did they watch ? Because (though they won't admit it )...they are looking for something they are not getting from the Democrat party or Joe Biden..
If, Biden stays in the witness protection program any longer ..expect more and more Democrats to attend/watch Trump Rallies and in the end vote for the Presidents re-election..

There is a slim possibility those Democratic viewers are of the more open minded type and wanted to hear what he man had to say and give it consideration. If there were just one that would be an improvement over Trump forever partisans. Open in intelligent minds may be more common than some people think, when they have decided they and their cohorts are 1,000% right and it can not possibly be any other way. And, btw, 1.6 million viewers ain't diddly squat in a heated political campaign rally. His reality TV show did a lot better than that. Impossible to know how many of the viewers were just interested, or disgusted or fell asleep, but it damn sure wasn't 1.6 million looking for a new messiah to follow.
By Trump, and political rally standards it was a disaster, and there is no rose-colored-glasses way to look at it.
