Also, the FBI is not really a political think tank. So, their political opinion holds no weight in this discussion. They are good only for the crimes that are reported to them and that they investigate. I am more concerned with the murders, violent crimes, thefts, assaults, and that sort. Not even really things the FBI deals with as much as the municipal authorities do. Basically, you need to answer why the cities that have Leftist policies also have higher crime rates.
A state can be a majority Republican but have huge cities that are Democratic — that is where the trouble spots are.
