Getting ready for the next school shooting. 11 in 25 days. Since the gop controls everything I don't see anything changing.

au contraire, you like tiltnologic don't see the logic. With every gun incident more people turn against guns so in the long term doing nothing will kill gun rights as the majority will turn against gun rights. Maybe not in my life time but it will happen. inaction now will turn into action later.

Since 2013, there have been hundreds of school shootings in the US according to everytownresearch.  US has the most school shootings in the world because of wide availability of guns according to US center for disease control. 

Shooters are mostly angry young men who have been bullied, seek justice, have easy access to gun and plan their attack for a long time.  Preventive measures include installing alarms or phones to alert police, hiring security guards and tougher gun laws.

Tax ammunition. 100 a box of 20rounds

Saying a tool maker with a milling machine can not manufacture a firearm is insanity. A guns can not kill without bullets. So tax bulletsmake a reserve of the bronze needed to manufacture brass and tax the ammunition.

Is this true?  I have no idea.  If so, can you post the link.  I am interested in how accurate the data is on this. 
If it is true, it would certainly seem that a different method of handling it would work better.

Have to disagree with that. Since guns are not restricted and millions of criminals and idiots are armed, more people are inclined to think that they too need a gun. Every time a new gun resriction proposal is about to be voted on gun sales go up, not down, as more and more people feel they too need to be armed and don't want to get shut out by new legislation.
