The 6th Amendment's Confrontation Clause

Voting rates in 2016 among service members 46% percent..says the Federal Voting Assistance Program report..

There were about 1,600,00 active service members in the US military ..If, only 46% of them voted that's around 736,000 members..

Taking that figure 736,000 and say it's 53% 48% Biden that's 375,260 votes for Biden ..leaving Tump with 360,740 votes..a difference off 14,520 votes more for Joe Biden..I  know every vote counts. But,if that's the way it turns out ( as Joe would say) Big F'en deal..

Bolton told John Roberts of Fox News that if he had heard the president make the remarks, he would have devoted an entire chapter of his book to them..."I didn’t hear him say those things," the former national security adviser told Bloomberg in an interview published Friday in reference to Trump's alleged comment about fallen Marines... 

Trump has explained that he didn't visit the cemetery because the weather conditions precluded him from doing so. Bolton confirmed this account in his recently published book, The Room Where It Happened.

Not sure how the RNC and their blind followers can defend Trump, he has been abusive to pretty much every group he comes in contact with if they do not suck up to him. He was very disrespectful to McCain, that is not speculation so what is such a stretch to think that a guy who daily abuses people and cannot keep his trap shut would say more classless stupid comments? We all knew he was an a**hole in 2016, but as a moderate who refrained
from voting then, many people, including me, thought that the sheer
dignity of the U.S. Presidency - coupled with WH staff and a cabinet who
would surely act as a brake toward his darker impulses,  might prevail.
So many voters "hoped" he would behave differently once in office.
He said so.  He didn't.
You're right. The man always was a jerk, and despite our "hopes,"
nothing has changed.

A re-election is always a referendum on the incumbent.
This time "character" is likely to play a far more significant role.
The disillusionament so many fringe trump-voters feel today because
he failed to change once in office - DESPITE HIS PROMISE - is real.
Many feel cheated. They knew what he was BEFORE but trusted
his word that he WOULD change.
He hasn't.

Even with all those trusting souls, he lost by 3 million votes in 2016,
and that was against an almost equally unpopular opponent.
Those dynamics are totally different this time.

Trump is the sucker here. And hopefully the loser in November.

I acknowledge all of this to be the truth about Trump. That's why I didn't vote for him in 2016. This is now a choice of the lesser evil.

I don't think there's any question he said it.  I guess it hurts people more because more military members are Republicans.  Well, I'm going to agree with Trump.  Why do losers join the military?  You blindly follow orders and don't even know the scope of most missions.  You may be doing something you entirely disagree with but you're supposed to just do your job and don't question anything.  Oh yeah, that's a great way to live and operate.  Put your trust in others who may not have your best interests at heart.  You're serving a country that sees you as a disposable object to toss aside and bury.  That is roughly what Trump is saying since you don't really get rich off being a veteran, although I will say several customers I've serviced are veterans who happen to be doing fairly well.  

It's not big news since the election isn't going to be affected by the military.  They won't swing the difference and are just political pawns.  Oh, did I mention that most people who join the military are giant assholes with no decency or character?  These "heroes" always sound like such bad people and I do not enjoy conversing with them.  I find them to be rather unpleasant and they do not possess any qualities that I consider to be admirable.  Yes, occasionally one of them is a good person but that's just so damn rare.  The majority of them don't deserve respect and I usually laugh at any moron wearing a hat proudly.  Good for you, sucker.

Midnight. I have no idea why you and others here feel the need to be so condescending towards others that disagree with you. I'm voting for Trump in 2020 so I guess, since I'm not going to be on the sidelines, that it might be acceptable to you for me to voice my opinion. My post, that you replied to, wasn't bashing anyone on this forum. In fact, I was agreeing with a post made by WSC. The fact is that I don't like Trump, but I would never support the platform being provided by Biden/Harris. 

Please do me a favor and look to start your arguments with someone else. I'm not going for it.
