I'm not a Trump basher and rarely get into the debate in threads solely about him but enough is enough. I've never seen a President try to politicize natural disasters, and tragedies, the way he does. His willingness to open his mouth about things he clearly knows nothing about is sickening. I've strongly agreed with some of his policy, strongly disagreed with some but on this, I am enraged.
Climate change is a thing but the people on the otherside who try to use climate change to politicize a tragedy/natural disaster are just as bad as Trump.
It's the same thing as when a shooting happens and politicians attack gun laws. They aren't reallly attacking gun laws, they are attacking gun lobbyist...because gun lobbyist support the republican party. They don't really care about victims of gun violence. Politicians, on both sides, are the worst.

I learned about that after his hollow promises about looking at gun control after the Parkland murders. He's been crapping on California for years. His threats to withhold federal funding (he doesn't realize Cali gives more to the federal government than it receives) is moronic & your local congressman should remind him of it everyday. It took him over 400 days to visit your state. How much more do you need to understand he doesn't care about any tragedy that takes place in America.
You & your neighbors can find out who in your state financially support this POS & let them know it needs to stop by boycotting their products or services etc.
He consistently takes shots at your sanctuary cities & his crazy freaking base hold that against those cities by not visiting & adding to Cali's economy. He tells his base you're harboring thousands of & that is total BS. He makes threats & tries to manage issues through fear.
Your environment has been seriously damaged & it will take decades to return to it's natural beauty. It's a fact that most of these fires are caused by humans but those who do not believe that climate change is real & any denier must be enlightened & not place in a position of power. Cali has suffered from drought for a number of years. Piggy's take is "climate changes & will change back" & people believe this crap.
It's overwhelming from an individual point of view but if you really want to make a difference get with groups with similar views & values. It's not going to happen overnight & you won't have time to positively change the POS but you can work towards changing those in power. I wish you luck.
Yeah Trump needs to shut up and quit taking any opportunity to make a shot on a DEM state or candidate or person. It goes to show how immature he is and what a teeeny tiny ego the guy has, he is either not smart enough to know that there is a LARGER issue out there that lives are lost and people are in need OR he is just classless and pathetic that he does not care and cannot help himself to just shut his trap and do his job.
Allow me to retort. I'm upset by his comments on California fires and that is what the thread is about. Nothing else. As far as who supports Trump, many of the the people in areas affected by fires are Trump supporters. That's for them to make their peace with. As far as sanctuary cities, i'm against them so you're not striking a nerve with me there. As far as sanctuary cities being affected by Trump's disparaging remarks, sanctuary cities on the west coast (SF, Portland, ect.) could stand to lose a few visitors. Ask anyone.
As far as the thesis of your entire post. I'm quite socially and politically active. I quite frankly, and to quote the movie "Lean on Me", I don't have to do shyt but stay black and die.
No offense, but your post did exactly what I was accusing Trump of. Politicizing a tragedy. I respect you, for your service to the country, but wouldn't call us aligned on this one.
Again, i'm from California. I actually live in two states and may decide to register in the other come 2020. Regardless of which in state I am registered, and who I personally choose to vote for, both states will go for the democratic candidate. So I don't get where you are going. If anything,
