That is because MANY people vote based on their own biases and agenda, they vote based on what they think is best for others, that their ideas are what everyone should follow. It is flawed and wrong to vote based on what YOU think is best. So the extreme views of the right AND the left are flawed, voting based on extreme views is not best serving the general society.

One other little teeny tidbit, I do not consider Trump as a Republican because he truly does not represent the principals of being a Repub, I see Trump as a life-long opportunist who knows how to exploit and take advantage and in this case he sees an easy mark, an easy target for his personal ambitions and he exploits it. He uses and exploits the GOP audience because he knows he can. He tramples on many attributes of the GOP regarding Christianity and family values, he is abusive and insulting and prior to Trump that was not existent in your party.
