2 small offshore units play, i'm expecting Trump to sweep these upcoming GOP Northeast Primaries. He may not get 1,237 delegates before GOP July convention, but i like Trump's chances to win in the contested convention.

I was having lunch with a friend the other day that insists that trump is a democrat with a democrat agenda to splinter and deconstruct the Republican Party. But the problem is that he is not that powerful it takes the people with in the party to do themselves in and they seem to be working really hard at it

Ryan said the same thing as about speaker of the house. Political rumors are that Ryan has been actively getting money in last few weeks from big wigs and this is for a likely play at president.
I obviously have no idea if it is true. But nothing should surprise us in politics. From either side.

No reasonably astute person expects the Republican candidate to carry New York in November, but the fact that Cruz is currently polling in third place does not help him look like a stronger candidate than Trump.
Of course, Bible thumpers are not exactly known for their "New York values."

I don't get how Ryan who says he doesn't want to be president is going to be nominated.
Is the republican part going to basically show to the entire world that the voting process is completely meaningless to them and they will crown their own royalty and damnn what the citizens of the United States had to say with their voices at the polls and voting boxes?
That just seems like such a poor choice of strategy to display to the world how unamerican they are

Rafael Cruz latest odds have him as a 35% chance of beong the nominee. Paul Ryan is 3% . Mr Trump is 62% likely to be the Repub nominee.

I think Ryan has come out and said he won't do it because his name is being put out there. He had it clear that he doesn't want to have to play the role of the GOP Loser again. I think it would be poor strategy to nominate someone who says they don't want to do it. It's like the GOP nomination is no longer voluntary and Ryan is being drafted in and sent off to fight in a war he has already stated he wants nothing to do with.
It just seems too stupid of a strategy to happen.
But I guess fumble in strategy happens.

Things change quickly. Have to see more of an effort by Trump to meet delegates face to face--just like the GOP is helping Rafael Cruz do.

Bernie has a handful of super delegAtes--you get blacklisted if you jump ship and break ranks . Same with Donald. Trump needs to STOP emphasizing rallies, and focus on meeting every friggin delegate.
