A new poll released Thursday found that Obamacare is at its most popular
it's ever been among the American public since it was signed into law by
President Obama almost a decade ago.

Navigator Research poll found that 54% of Americans expressed favorable
views of the program. Around 31% of the public said they had unfavorable
views and 9% responded they didn't know.

The net favorability — or the gap between favorable and unfavorable views
— stood at +23, a 22-point increase since the group last asked the question
in June 2019.
The results stood at 46% favorable vs. 45% unfavorable then.

The national survey was conducted online and relied on answers from 1,000
registered voters and 200 additional interviews with political independents
who didn't lean one way or the other.

Another poll released last Friday from the Kaiser Family Foundation,
a nonpartisan health research organization, mirrored those results.
Its ongoing survey tracking public attitudes toward the Affordable Care Act
found 55% of Americans supported it, a record high. Around 37% opposed it.

Of course...not all federal and state policies impact everyone the same. Isn't that kind of how all public policies work? Duhhh. But there are tens of millions of low-income, and low-middle income workers that now are guaranteed healthcare coverage, who did not possess access to basic healthcare before. If I have to pay a little more for my private family healthcare plan (I am self-employed also, I assume you are) for the greater good and healthcare equality, and can afford to (which I can), then what does that hurt? In my case, enrolling in a plan through Obamacare for my family costs around 1200 per month, but guess what you do not have to choose to enroll in it. I do not know of any family paying 4k per month for healthcare under ACA, it is not even possible in my state. If they suffer from terrible health, they would be denied by a private insurer anyway. We do seem to be disconnected on the policy based on views on equality and access clearly. 

Well stated again! 

The public information is there if people actually choose to acknowledge it.

Zandi estimates the Trump-led tax cuts and spending increases have added 485,000 jobs while his trade war has cost 320,000. That appears to be a modest 165,000 net gain for the economy. While such differences may not move the needle in the 2020 election, Trump faces risks in manufacturing strongholds like Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania that helped deliver victory for him in 2016 and have been hurt by the trade war. Since April, the unemployment rate has climbed from 2.8% to 3.3% in Wisconsin and from 3.8% to 4.2% in Pennsylvania.

“A softer job market will become a political headwind to the president’s re-election bid if it continues into next summer,” Zandi says.

Then, of course, there's President Obama's assault on the business community through his burdensome regulations. Consider this: The estimated cost of regulations under Obama is a staggering $873 billion. That includes a shocking $344 billion cost in Environmental Protection Agency regulations alone. All told, the number of new regulations that been finalized under President Obama checks in at almost 3,000.

When it comes to jobs, President Obama is always bragging about how many he's created, but facts are stubborn things. In the past eight years, America has lost more than 300,000 manufacturing jobs and, although the president doesn’t mention it, America had a global trade deficit of over $732 billion last year.

They make statements.  They don't support them with verifiable facts.

Yet another drag on the American economy is ObamaCare, his signature legislation and crowning achievement. Remember when Obama repeatedly told you that under his plan you could keep your doctor, you keep your plan and that that it would drive down overall health costs to the point the average family would save $2,500 a year? And how ObamaCare would actually reduce the deficit?

If you are asking Rush to chime in, you have already lost the discussion gamble. 

Many of us in here have owned our own business & if you are now bitching about your medical cost, you should never have retired. Like others I have no problem paying a little more for my fellow Americans. 

As for the average American family saving $2,500 a year on health care, the exact opposite has happened. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, the increase in health care costs for employer-sponsored benefits since 2008 is now $5,462. That is a 43 percent increase.

Less than 50% of Americans have any money in stocks (or bonds)

Of course healthcare costs are higher now than in 2008. They were on an upward trend long before Obamacare. Every year they rose before the ACA, and after. Not surprising, cost of living, real estate costs, wages are also higher than in 2008. Are you going to tell us the sky is blue next?

Exactly, the guy claims to be so wealthy and rich, and yet is complaining about the costs of healthcare insurance, which proves that he is neither. The truly rich and wealthy do not complain about healthcare insurance costs or taxes.

So what does a spring 2020 new NAFTA deal have to do with the last 3 years of trump compared with the last 3 years of Obama???

What depleted?? We have 19 aircraft carrier fleets. The most any opponent has is 2.

But according to you, the military was depleted.  At an exorbitant cost running up the deficit and National Debt even more - which can't pay back!   Great!  All hail the self-procalimed "king of debt"

Obama Employment Failure and GDP Growth: 

• 8 years of disappointment.
• 95 million citizens could not find jobs.
• Labor force participation rate lowest point since 1977.
• During the Obama years, 13 million more people were added to Medicaid.
• 11 million more people were forced onto food stamps since Obama took office.
• The percentage of 18-34 year olds living with parents or family hit a 70-year high.
• The Social Security Disability rolls increased by 5 million under Obama
• Failed Growth: Obama is the first president not to achieve a single year of 3% GDP growth

Factor in inflation and they are even closer....but only a moron would think -- given our HISTORIC NATIONAL DEBT and HISTORIC ANNUAL INTEREST PAYMENTS on that DEBT -- that we should be spending EVEN MORE money on what already is something like 20 fold the most powerful military on the planet.  

But hey, adolf-lovers, don't let common sense get in the way of spending our future on another credit card like Bush did.  We NEED to borrow many more TRILLIONS because afterall, those ISIS dudes have rifles....and bullets!!! Yikes!
