Republicans are really hoping no one remembers that they totally let Trump skate for threatening to withhold military assistance to Ukraine unless Zelensky gave him dirt on Biden. Zelensky wouldn't succumb to the threats of that POS bully.
We haven't forgotten & neither has Ukraine.

These are all the real issues. Wallstreet talks about his hatred for fracking. Putin also spreads propaganda against fracking and secretly backs “green” organizations that try to end fracking. Why? Because fracking is a massive threat to Russia. Trump supported a TON of things that were a REAL threat to Russia. If you can’t acknowledge that then you either don’t have a grasp on the real issues or you’re incapable of being honest because of your hatred (misinformed) for Trump.
Careful with your temper in this thread...you are playing with fire and is it worth it?
I am against fracking because of the cost to the environment and the population. When you inject acids, petro chemicals, lead, etc etc into cracks of the earth to force out the goodies what happens to the chemicals that are used to free up the gunk collected? Where do even moderate ammts of these toxic chemicals go? They go into the water table which feeds to wells and lakes and rivers and the soil where people live.
I would rather spend efforts on becoming less dependent on oil than to extract it through fracking, I would rather consume less than make more. I think Trump could care less about impacts from his choices, his entire life has been void of any consideration of impact and his flagrant reversal on fracking is just another sign of his profit centered approach to life and it is a flawed approach that directly results in the deaths of thousands if not more. If we spent money on renewables that is now spent for tax freebies and government handouts to the petro corporations and focused on developing other ways to reduce consumption that would mean there is no need for fracking and ruining the water table. It is quite unnerving to consider that the water table is globally interconnected so fracking pollution does have impact far from just the small location the chemicals are used to extract.

Just like many in this forum try to disassociate themselves from Trump, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) is trying to do the same thing with Putin/Russia. The only problem is he promoted Russian disinformation from known Russian assets in Ukraine to help Trump’s re-election in 2020, even though he knew it was all bogus. He can try to whitewash his actions, but Americans remember.
That senator is scurrilous at best. But fits right into the "Trump For King" orbit

Germany and Italy are now both reportedly ready to remove Russia from the SWIFT banking system. They were the only two known holdouts. If Russia loses access to SWIFT, the financial implosion of Russia will be... swift.
According to this Bloomberg article CITI and JPM told the administration it could cause the USD to fall and have an inflationary effect
Others are saying it will mark the end of the USD as global reserve currency and usher in hyperinflation.
Do you ever have any idea what you’re talking about or do you just say things?

I applaud the Euro nations and the Biden administration on that move.

"This will ensure that these banks are disconnected from the international financial system and harm their ability to operate globally," they wrote in a joint statement released by the White House, also pledging "restrictive measures that will prevent the Russian Central Bank from deploying its international reserves in ways that undermine the impact of our sanctions," and restricting the sale of "golden passports" that allow Russian oligarchs to avoid the brunt of sanctions already levied.

US and European officials have also discussed targeting the Russian Central Bank with sanctions, according to two people familiar with the talks, a step without precedent for an economy of Russia's size. Targeting the central bank would strike at the heart of Putin's yearslong efforts to insulate his economy from sanctions.

Extraordinarily, Sweden is not a member of NATO but it is repelling Russia and helping Ukraine.
Also, Switzerland – which has maintained neutrality for hundreds of years – joined the EU in imposing sanctions against Russia, including Putin.--Yahoo News.
The whole free world is hugging tightly together and standing against Putin and Russia's aggression over Ukraine.
