On July 22, 2020 Pfizer signed an agreement with our government to accept 1.95B to assist them in manufacturing and distributing the vaccine that they were working on. Despite vaccine rollout, polls show most people still disapprove of Trump's response to the pandemic. Doubtful of any change in negative view of Trump even if vaccine distribution succeeds. But if there are significant problems in distribution, Trump would continue to be blamed for the greatest failure of his presidency. Public health experts are worried about Trump administration late start in promoting vaccines. His attacks against public health experts only worsen public distrust toward vaccines. However polls show most people are confident about Biden administration control of coronavirus and economy. The sooner countries reach herd immunity via vaccination, the sooner their economies can return to normal.

Credit where credit is due; it was science that created a vaccine, not a politician. The speed at which it was created is due to the incredibly urgent need and modern scientific technology. Given the tools of today, and all past scientific methods developed, we should see medicines developed much faster than at any time in history.
