I don't disagree with most of that, Midnight, but when our elected officials start trying to take too much to advance their own agenda's, they go beyond what they were elected to do. I doubt anyone that voted for AOC had a clue what this bozo had in mind. When elected officials decide to spend tax $$ on issues that we can't even vote on, they are stretching their authority.

Term limits would be a good start to resolving the problem. We've complained about the democrats out here for decades........I don't know anyone that has voted straight left........but they're out there. The rest of us have to put up with the results, like a Mayor that claims a riot could become "the summer of love", & a governor that claimed he didn't know anything about it.

Sounds good however, leftist which believe in marxism make it communism.   Examples of this....socialist system would be the former Soviet union.... an example of socialist nation cuba.... North Korea a socialist state.   USA is a democratic republic....     I do believe military personnel should be well taking care of.  Understand this under the Sanders biden 110 proposal,  shareholders will be in trouble.  401k pensions all gone...

The fact that nobody acknowledges that some cities are becoming shitholes on the left only show they care more about themselves than the people who elected them.

Like the wall, right? We didn't get to vote on that.

No argument here on term limits...and most of those agendas are based on what lobbyists are telling them. But then again you can't corrupt someone of strong character. It only works on the weak.

I do not believe in Communism or Marxism & neither does anyone I know on the left. You are parroting exactly what I mentioned in my post.

Stop doing it. It does nothing but further divide the country at a time we have to come together.

Joe Biden is a man who took the time to spend time with a young boy who also has a speech disorder just like Joe. Last night, 13 year old Brayden Harrington shared with the country how Joe has helped him with his speech impediment. It took a lot of courage for this kid to share his story.

Unlike Joe, Trump chose to ridicule a reporter with a disability while mimicking him to the laughter and applause of his ignorant supporters. What kind of person does that? What kind of person laughs & claps in approval?

Midnight, I would never condone making fun of anyone with a disability or for anything for that matter. I am not one to say Trump is a guy I would invite to Thanksgiving dinner bc I do shudder over some of the things he says. However, as a life long Delawarean I know Biden better then most and he has a sizable ego as well and has done for said many things that causes me to scratch my head. I remember when his 1st wife and daughter were tragically killed when a trucker hit their car, he told audiences on numerous occasions that the trucker drank his lunch instead of eating it. Totally false and he later acknowledged that fact but why continue the pain for the trucker's family and his own. He has tended to stretch the truth quite often but I know this is a character flaw of many career politicians and Trump is just as guilty in this area. My point is this is a pick your poison type election as it was in 2016 and I'm going with Trump here bc of the core values I have, not bc Trump is a likable guy.

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

For libraries to be a socialistic system, you would be forbidden to own a book. Any book you own or buy would be seized by the library and added to their collection, although you would be allowed to borrow it under the same conditions as anyone else. Even if public taxes are used to buy books for the public libraries, you are not forbidden from buying and owning your own books.

It is the rule that only the state or community may own things which is the basic tenet of socialism.

    excellent points .

the socalled socialism the right is trying to demonize r issues like allowing people to love and marry who they choose and equal pay for equal work and a fair living wage and reducing air & water pollution and reducing loopholes that allow the rich to get even richer and social justice for all but all of it contained within a fully democratic system . what righteous person would actually oppose these social issues ??

Did I say I was an expert? On Trump? On Biden? I probably do know Biden well enough bc he was constantly in the news bc he was the Delaware senator and has been living in Delaware forever or do you not see this? And for the record Biden is the king of mis-speaking and has problems stretching the truth as well. I already said Trump is no angel as well. If we don't go back many years then why was Kamala Harris calling Biden a racist for his stance on bussing many years ago? Oh never mind, that's different...

OK SC but let's talk about some of those core values for a minute...

Honesty...we agree all politicians lie but let's be honest here. There's no comparison. Biden wins that one.

Fidelity...Trump's a pig; cheated on every wife he's had. Biden (as far as we know) has been faithful to Jill. Biden wins that one.

Loyalty..Trump shows none to anyone. I'm sure Joe has screwed over people during his rise in politics but nothing like Trump. Joe wins another one.

Commitment...your word is your bond when dealing with others in life. We are expected to pay our bills for services rendered. Joe wins this one.

Open-Mindedness..the opinion of others is important. It allows us to learn things we many have never known by not listening to the ideas of others. Trump does not listen to his experts. Joe wins this one.

Integrity...a belief that strong moral values are important to a nation. You are respectful of others; gracious to others; responsible; patient. Joe wins this one.

Dignity..be ethically governed in your dealings with others. Be respectful of others. Joe wins this one.

I'm sure there are some core values that I have omitted but these are some that come quickly to my mind. But SC if you are basing your voting decision based on your core values, I would ask you to reread my list & reconsider your vote.

    Be safe!

Be safe!

Kelly, I know you are passionate in your beliefs and I'm not trying to be an arrogant dikk claiming I know something or I'm better informed for smarter then everyone else bc I'm definitely not. Seeing Biden on TV and the newspaper for decades a Delaware voter should know him better then someone from another state or an informed vote would not be possible. If a person is to make an informed decision they should at least take the time to know there candidate and their stance on the issues or a person shouldn't be voting. And I go back a bit further then the 80's (unfortunately) so I did see/hear Trump more then enough. Have a good night peace_5

which would mean i can rightfully claim to know trump extremely well having been raised and lived in ny for decades . and he is worse than biden by a light yrs .

being informed or a person shouldnt be voting is always a truism . but there is precious little of that these days particularly from the right who seem to get all or at least most of their news from one heavyright biased source .  and this go around it is enough for many many many many voters to have witnessed in real time what trump is to vote against him by defualt regardless they know anything at all about any other candidates . that my fren is how bad trump is

On Trump?
