Why do so many Americans not know how Impeachment works?

I am getting loads of texts and reading nonstop on twitter about how who the president will be tomorrow morning. 

Do the majority of people really not know that impeachment doesnt mean removal and its just accusation? 

Him getting impeached might be a bad look, but I dont think it will impact him that much and he will still win in 2020...

Over 100 million didn't vote in 2016. That should answer your question.

Impeachment is a "bad look?"

That has to be the most stupid farking thing I've heard since this whole process started. With you getting these assine texts, it tells me all I need to know about who you hang with on a daily basis & who you follow on twitter. 

Well I mostly meant on general cause it is trending on twitter, but it is a bad look, you cant say its a good look, being the 3rd pres in history to get impeached is a bad look from those who know nothing, but thats why I say he will win in 2020 and it will be no big deal

Sweeping statements from people in your bubble of life does not equate to the majority.  I believe people do know that impeachment is just one step of the process.  I can say this with confidence that a majority of people know that Trump will not be convicted in the senate hence why it was a waste of time to begin with.  The optics don't look good so close to the election but it happened in July of this year so it is what it is.  Trump is going to gain massive momentum and more ammunition for his re-election rhetoric.  The American people will decide in Nov 2020 and that is the end of the discussion.

Disagree that it was a waste of time. It had to be done because some in Congress still believe in the oath they took to protect the Constitution.

We also don't "know" what will happen in the Senate. We didn't know that the whistleblower would come forward & we don't know if some Republican will break ranks for the sake of the country.

Nancy Pelosi is holding the articles of impeachment.  Will not transfer the articles to the United States Senate. The over the hill wind bag wants to be assured of a fair takedown of President Trump in the Senate. Say what! You can not possibly make this up on your best day!

Nanny Nancy Pelosi must have had another Botox injection go into her brainpan again,an Impeachment takes place on the Senate Homefield and she doesn't get to write the groundrules. She knows her Articles are DOA so she will be satisfied to give Trump a Black Mark of being Impeached without the Not Guilty final verdict.

Credit the mainstream media for that.. CBS,  NBC,  ABC,  all want you to believe that Trump is done.  Nothing could be further from the truth

Midnight, If they are wondering who the president will be tomorrow morning, they clearly don't think Trump will be the one occupying the White House and will be removed....
