I by and large like Ron Paul. So, don't know where you got disrespect from. I am simply saying there are various reasons for not getting involved, not saying all reasons are the same. I am not even saying any are bad. It is cool that you don't think we have obligation or desire to help, no problem with that either.
Not clear what church and state have to do with this.
As I asked WSC---you support no war/interventions except the 4? Is that correct? Or no?
I honestly cannot admit at this point what Bush administration did was wrong. Even if I didn't agree with it I cannot say that they did it with wrong information or wrong intentions. Again, imagine the reporter that could get that smoking gun.
Nothing wrong with being stubborn if you feel you are right---I see you for sure feel that way.
On this one we can continue to disagree. We can agree on Munn, Stossel, Paul and maybe Johnson. Coming around on him. Don't wanna keep back and forth on this guys thread. Will catch you in next one.
Today, we live in a state of undeclared, endless war, power projection, by choice, disguised as necessity, in secret, to increase the license to act, to minimalize oversight and accountability, labeled war to engender fear and urgency, as well as, labeled something other than war for expediency and legal circumvention.
You keep assuming that I’m saying the Bush administration went to war with evil intentions. That is not what I am saying. I’m saying the information the Bush administration used was fabricated to legally justify a war that the office of special plans believed was necessary for the future of the United States and the world.
"Again, imagine the reporter that could get that smoking gun."
The media dissected the Senate Report on Pre-war Intelligence on Iraq. The media exposed the Bush-Blair 2003 Iraq memo. The media exposed a secret Pentagon committee, (set up by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in October 2001), to win support for a war in Iraq. The media exposed a leaked cabinet office briefing paper that showed how Blair and Bush conspired the Iraq war and deliberated a defense strategy for a future inquiry on the Iraq war. The media exposed Bush’s 260 lies in lead up to Iraq war. The media exposed the list of people who were involved with the Office of Special Plans and uncovered the plans of the Office of Special Plans. The media exposed the Bush ties to the Baker Institute for Public Policy. The media exposed the Bush's ties to the Strategic Energy Policy Challenges For The 21st Century report. The media exposed the Project for the New American Century letter to Bush, Sept. 20, 2001 urging him to start a war against Saddam Hussein. The media exposed Saddam was switching from Dollars to Euros to weaken Washington. The media exposed the secret Bush cabinet meeting five months before September 11th declaring military intervention in Iraq is necessary to stabilize the oil market. I'm out of breath...
What more can the media do? I think the media did a solid job getting the truth out to Americans. How many more smoking guns do you want?
