BetJamaica's Triple Play MLB Challenge
 
Pick Selection Guidelines:
 
-3 daily selections.
-Leaderboard is based on total units.
-ML and O/U selections based on availability.
-All MLB games with posted lines will be available for selection between:

End Date: Monday, October 5th, 2009

$5,000 Cash Betting Account - Equivalent of 2 MLB World Series game tickets, flights and hotel accommodations. No rollover required.

Grand Prize Overview:
  • The Grand Prize will be awarded through a draw at the end of the Contest.
  • Every time a contestant wins the 1st place weekly prize, their name will be added into the draw for the Grand Prize.
  • The Top 10 contestants at the end of the Contest will also have their names added into the Grand Prize draw.
  • As such, a contestant may have their name entered multiple times into the Grand Prize draw at the end of the contest.
  • Grand Prize winner receives a $5,000 Free Play BetJamaica Betting Account with no rollover required (Equivalent of 2 MLB World Series tickets, flights and hotel) 
Prize Requirements & Eligibility:
  • All winners must have a registered BetJamaica account.
    To be eligible for the Top 10 and Grand Prizes, all accounts must have wagered a minimum of $50 or more prior to September 1st, 2009.
  • Weekly winners must have a registered BetJamaica account and have made at least one wager at the sportsbook during the 2009 MLB regular season.  *Your wager must be made anytime before Saturday 1pm EST of your prize winning week.
  • 6x rollover required on all contest prizes (except for the Grand Prize). For example if you win the weekly $250 prize you will need to wager $250x 6 for a total of $1500 in the sportsbook before you can request a withdrawal.
  • Prizes are awarded as BetJamaica Free Play Betting Accounts.
Tie Breaker Rules
 
Overall Leaderboard Tie breaker:
 
For members who are tied with equal units:
(1)   Winning percentage
(2)   Total number of picks
(3)   Member who made the first pick within the contest (time stamp).

For the weekly prizes: it states we must make a wager during the 2009 MLB season before that week ends for that prize. Is there a minimum wager amount for that as well?

this was a great contest in spring training but now you just have a bunch of players betting the sheet...good luck in the accounting department...wish you'd start another one really, with the 3 pick limit...

man ,,?? have any body recieved any real cash from all these contest!? seems theres so much contest going on...but do peeps really get thier money when they win? anybody know?

the funny thing is Nolan wanted go to A&M outta high school but they couldnt see offering him a scholarship...

Does this mean we had to take a game by Friday night or does it mean we just need to place the wager before 1 p.m. EST Saturday? Anybody know?

if we donot make one bet before the deadline. would be still get quarter of the money. like if i win 200 dollars , would i still get 50 dollars. please help

if you win $10 then you have to wager it 6 times ($60 in total wagers) before you can withdraw it from the account.

Is this contest worth being in if you do not have a BetJamaica account.  I don't want to win somie prize and them say it is only for people who have an active account aleady.  Thanks

C'mon, I think the whole point of them running the contest is getting new sign ups. It would make no sense to play if you don't have an account with them. So the question has to be is playing in the contest worth setting up a BetJam account. My answer is yes!!

I don't have an account with BetJam...but I am playing the contest.  True, the point of running the contest is to get new sign-ups.  I have no issue with that.  The issue at hand is this: my deposit to BetJam is instant (we will all agree), yet I see - on this site and many others - that payouts take between 5 days and 4 months!!  I know the reason, UGIFAMW - that stupid attachement to the Safe Ports Law.  So what is going to happen to my initial deposit and my winnings as I wager to keep the account "active" so I can be eilgibile for weekly prizes??  Payouts are, at best, questionable.  I am to pay my own prize forward??  I'll pass on that deal as it is LOL funny!
 
If BetJam is a classy place - they would not need to hit me up for an initial deposit.  They would pay the prizes as listed with the same 6x rollover (like 6x is realistic anyway).  Good luck to all who play...and better luck getting paid timely if you win!

I'm in it just to see how I stack up against everyone else. I don't have a BetJam account nor plan on ever getting one. I'll keep playing Streak Survivor and centsports.com in attempts to win money without ever having to use a credit card!

does this contest prize go like the usual betjam prized if you havent made a wager you only get 25% or is this one if you dont make a wager you dont get any winnings at all?

For the weekly prize, there is no set minimum, but you have to bet it before the end of the week that you win in or you are not eligible.  So as it says above, bets have to be in on Saturday, because the contest closes for the weekly tallies on Sunday.

If you want to win the big prizes at the end you have to wager a total of $50 or more before Sept. 1st 2009 as per the rules.

Hope that clears it up.
