Cardinals vs. Panthers -9.5 (2 units) - biggest spread for the weekend and I gotta stick with it because the Cardinals have struggled on the East Coast.  Carolina is rested and they can play ball control with that sweet run game they have.  If the Arizona offense abandons the run early than you can stick a fork in them.  Kurt Warner will not be able to throw 40+ times and win the game.  Boldin will most likely be out for the game too.  The only thing I'm worried about is a backdoor cover here with a garbage time TD.

Could be some rain here; which always suggests a total. But Jake is a far better hometown Qb than he is a road Qb. Jake has a nice
11:5 ratio in the Queen City.

Jake slips to a lowly 4:7 as a guest.

That said, Warrner can wing that rock. Though he has not topped 3oo
passing since week #12. That reads like an old guy with a tired arm to
me. I took CAR+4 on a teaser. 0.05u with last nites Boxing.

I agree with the ColonelJim, but wait I am having a message from outer space. Please. Even though the Cards lost travelling east, I think this is a shootout. Both offense almost average 30 pts a  game. I think I saw a defense from Arizona last week. I see Arizona covering an possibly winning out right. Look at the odds of a team losing 6 times travelling east? Are they due? My bet is the Cards, and the points and the over. Is it cocktail time yet? Its noon somewhere. GL and lets take Vegas's money Oh and don't trip over a camel toe.

Going back to 11/16 of this year, these two teams are a combined 12-3 on the OVER!!!!  If you just played the over in every Cards game this year you only lost 5 times!!!  There is just something about this team and the over the total!  Carolina isn't any slouch when it comes to hitting the big either.  Especially the last 6 weeks of the season.  So, now you know I'll be on the over, just because the over in Cards games is one of the stongest trend bets in the NFL this year. 
 
To try to insulate against any significant lose of money on this game, so I'll take the dog and the 10 points.  Two even amounts on the over and the dog.  It is extrodinarily improbable one or the other of these outcomes doesn't happen!  And in my humble opinion, I think they both could hit.........which wouldn't be a bad thing for me.

NCrum made a good point about Delhomme. I am not looking at my crystal ball, but I see Delhomme losing the game for Carolina. I think Warner has a one of the best games of his life because he plays up to big games. I am looking the QB matchup here and my make a small parley on Arizona and the pointsl and Ravens  and the pts. Feel better about the Ravens winning on the road than the Cards, but an upset has to happen and playing the odds> Remember, Americans traditionally bet the over and I think 48.5 is high, and the statisitcs are for the regular season. Remember, the playoff, PLAYOFF?, are a whole new season. That being said. I am staying away from the total and just making a small bet on the side. Arizona + 9.5, before it goes down with the Ravens and the points. What I don't like is the public pushing the points down because most people in Vegas will take the points. I usually have my mine made up when I go to the casino, but there are a couple of wiseguys that I listen to. GL

AND WE ALL KNOW ITS A GREAT RUN GAME HERE WITH PANTHERS, BUT I EXPECT CARDS TO STACK THE BOX LIKE THE DID WITH FALCONS, ONLY PROBLEM THESE BACK ARE BETTER THAN NORWOOD AND WILL BREAK BIG PLAYS!! IM STILL LEANING UNDER HERE SMALL PLAY, ENOUGH TO MAKE IT INTERESTING.

Usually just play the college games until it is over.  So what to do with the money I won on CFB?  Add to it by playing safely on the limited pro games that give me enugh time to study.  Today's safest winning play is:
 
Two team tease--------Ravens +9  combined with  Carolina  -4.

IT'S 11:20 AM HERE IN VEGAS! I HAVE ARRIVED! Now to your question... "Huge" is relative to your bank I guess. I personally will be wagering $6,500.00 on this game. This is my first time wagering in vegas. I have a 50k marker at the cage (nervous as hell). I never knew (until now) what lines they offered here in vegas as far as what they allowed for wagering. Thanks JG.... I hope I don't need any luck. Panthers should CRUSH! The only good thing about being here is the instant payout. I am in my room with their lines sheets. If you have watched enough football over the years, you would know that there have been many BEATDOWNS in the NFL playoffs.  And that is why the spread is as high as it is.  Arizona may have fared well against a rookie qb on their home turf, but they will show their true colors when they play in Carolina.
