all every1 on this site keeps saying is how they are going to go with manning in this game...as much as i love him, he has a 7-8 career playoff record. Besides the one year they won the super bowl, when i think of the colts i think of a team who always chokes in the playoffs, and many of those games being at home. flacco on the other hand is 3-1 in the post season and his only loss was on the road at pittsburgh. im not comparing flacco to manning cuz its obviously not even close as far as talent...but all flacco needs to do is not lose this game for his team, where as manning has the pressure on him to make plays and lead the colts to victory. ray rice and the baltimore running game has the ability to shred that indi defense, which will help flacco on play action, etc. I think the baltimore defense (with ed reed back) is good enough to hold indi to field goals and keep this game close. im not sure if baltimore wins this game, but ill gladly take the points and ride baltimore on the road.

 COLTS BLOW OUT THE RAVENS!

It is not uncommon to see blowouts in the second week of the season. Here is one. The colts will win easily and its not based on talent.

THIS IS THE RAVENS 4TH FOURTH 4TH FOURTH CONSECUTIVE ROAD GAME!

The stats on 3 consecutive road games are pretty solid but 4 NEVER happens except in the playoffs. The Ravens will fall behind early and turn the ball over often (fatigue). They will try to catch up and fall further behind. Its not that the colts are great (I like San Diego to win the AFC). Its just that Baltimore will suffer the effects of all of that travel. Oh and for good measure they get 6 days rest.

Burn your money if you must and scratch your heads later saying "wow they were flat...wonder why".

One other tried but TRUE axiom:

IN THE PLAYOFFS YOU BET THE TEAM THAT YOU THINK WILL WIN THE GAME...NOT THE POINTS

ewillie you disappoint me man. Anyone else want to wager a little side money that the Ravens will beat the Colts straight up ? Cause I've got $100 on the Colts winning here. C'mon guy's and gal's, anyone wanting a little side wager ? Colts will roll and await next weeks opponent. By the way, I'm taking any side wagers on that game as well. I know there's alot of you guy's out there, who are claiming that the Ravens win straight up. Now is the time to back that talk up..........I'm listening !

unfortunately Flacco's inexp. will cost BAL the game...Manning is to high of a level, BAL cannt score the amount of pts necessary to win.

Balt beat one team with a winning record all year.......last week on a mound of TO's and first quarter slow starts and mistakes.......I got Indy to prove a point and Manning to shred the Ravens early and often.   This is the best Ist half line of the weekend!!!!  Colts and the over.  31-17..........17-3 at the half.

You know...I think this is the hardest game of the week to cap.  Initially I was on the Ravens, then I was thinking Colts. But after analyzing some statistics I think I am back on the Ravens.  Lets face the facts. Indianapolis has no run defense and Ray Rice is a beast.  If the Ravens run the ball all day like they most likely will. They could chew up some serious clock and keeping Peyton Manning off the field.  Then combine that with a couple decent Ravens defensive stands. Could be a close game.  On the other hand if the Ravens defense flops, then they are absolutely toast, cause Flaccos passing attack is not going to be able to keep up.

If you just look at the numbers there's no doubt who has the stronger team: Baltimore. The Colts give up 4 yards a rush and the Ravens get 4.6 yards. On the other side, the Colts get 3.6 yards a rush and Bmore gives up 3.5. That's a big rushing advantage for a 6 1/2 point dog. Also, when these teams played earlier in the year it was a dead even game. Both teams had 20 first downs and the Colts had 20 more total yards. The difference was Baltimore's inability to get the ball in the end zone. But Bmore is also playing its best ball right now.

Because it's Manning at home coming off a bye I'm only going with a small play on the Ravens.

'Coltpower', I'll take you up on that $100 wager. How do you want to arrange it?

Will take Ravens straight up.

Colts won't establish the run with a mere Joseph Addai. In fact, I'd venture to say Mike Hart gets more yards than Addai this game - in garbage time. This leaves a heavy reliance on Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne. Manning might even look for Pierre Garcon more than usual, with a sort of tribute TD for the receiver's native land of Haiti. Still won't be enough.

The Colts haven't truly warmed up to Lucas Oil Stadium - not in the post-season, at any rate.

Ravens win with some breathing room. Take a slight lean on the Under.

Colts are 0-3 after first-round byes and have not won a playoff game since winning the Super Bowl after the 2006 season.  I have one unit on the Ravens +6.5 so far.   May add another prior to game time.   I expect the Colts to win a close one at the end like they have done all year, but would not be shocked if Baltimore wins outright.

Bet the favs in the 2nd round, almost always.  That's the trend.  Another trend, when Vegas opens at 7, take the fav.  If it opened at 6', take the dog, but 7 is the fav.  Just the way it is.  Most think the opposite but I play the line, not against it.

a perfect storm is gathering for the conditions for BAL to upset colts...most notably the Ref-crew, who doesnt throw pass-interference flags...keep Manning off field w/ sustained drives and when he is on field HIT HIM, dont give up long balls..BAL needs to score 21 pts plus to win...think they got it in em??

Tonight it'll be the Colts defense that will win the game for Indiana.  Baltimore will stay under 20, and the Ravens defense will be fooled by Manning and the Colts.
Someone said, it's dangerous to bet the points in Nfl playoffs, and I agree, but its not for this game.

easy Colts-6,5

Flacco will be destroyed. I have a feeling that he's gonna throw a pick 4sure, and the running game wont work.

How do u do side wagers? Sounds slighltly illegal, but what do i know, i'll stick with the casinos here in Nevada, thanks.

Added one unit on first half under 22 for this game.  I expect it to be low scoring in general, and for the Colts to take a little while to warm up after a long layoff.
