I can't help thinking about just how good Peyton Manning has been this year with that near 69% completion rate. They went 14-0 without really even running the ball. They're going to have to buck recent history in terms of playing well after that layoff but they've looked so good at times this year I think they'll be ready.
That said, it may be too many points. So many of the games between these teams have been close and I do agree with an earlier post in this thread suggesting the Ravens can keep up with Indy, because the one thing they have going for them this time, in addition to that defense, is Ray Rice.
I also happen to think Flacco is getting to much flack . . . sorry bout that one . . . for his performance last weekend. But for what reason did they even need to throw the ball? He'll be fine this week and he had pretty good numbers the last time they played Indy.
But still, I do like the Colts to win this game.
The way that offense looked this season despite the new parts they had to put into place, was just impressive. Betting against them in that crazy GAS dome atmosphere takes an absolute conviction that Baltimore is finally ready to bring them down. And it's not one that I share anyway.
So my crazy play on this one, is actually the Colt moneyline, parlayed with the over. Yep, the over.
Good luck all,

Like Ravens here big time. In recent years, Balt has been very competitive in the playoffs. Kudos here to Manning, whom this year, has carried this LESS than stellar team on his back. Very generous getting 6.5 pts here. In the previous two seasons, there has been a very noticeable decline on the Colts defensive play. This is just the kind of team that is content to gut out a "clutch" win and leave the cover on the table here. A back door cover is a strong possibility here, with a Raven SU victory entirely not out of the question here! RAVENS
Again, my theory of betting on whomever Vue is against is true and prosperous. Unfortunately for me he wont be posting due to losing the "NO POST BET" on the Saints/ Cards game up until the week of the Super Bowl. Therefore I don't have a reassurance of my pick but I think I'll be just fine. I went 2 for 2 today large and expect the same tomorrow. Colts in this game was not as dominating as the Saints were in theirs granted that they were going against Ray Lewis and Co. but it was the questionable defense of the Saints that really impressed me and set them apart from everyone else so far.
Next week the Colts will be against any of the teams playing tomorrow and anyone of those teams will put up more points than the Ravens did. I expect the Colts to perform better because I think the rest had gotten them a little rusty and a little out of sync. I look forward to seeing who it will be that they will be playing. I'm pretty sure that it will be the Chargers and that will be a tall order for them.
