This one is hard to see which team wins by the spread. Looking at baltimore's last game I am feeling like their once Dominant D got softer and messier. That houston game was suppose to be a blow out and it did look like that in the first qtr. They dropped INT and slow to the edges. They made Arian Foster looked really good.
Brady looks like he is on fire. His receivers look unstoppable. That and they played Buffalo and Bronco's the last 2 games. I can't tell if this team should go to the superbowl or they are just playing bad teams which makes them look great.
Throw out all the stats, this is the playoffs. 2 veteran teams where these teams has been before. Tom Brady is hot and that scares Baltimore backers but defense wins championships. I know the balitmore played poorly against Houston. Baltimore knows how to play brady but I don't see them winning this game. This will be a game won by the kicker... or a late TD drive.

The colonel is back...now if vue and w8lifter concurs, I'm going to pound the Ravens.
Good to see you at the top of the NFL stretch Mon Colonel !
Notice how Ravens appear to struggle following hard fought physical games , Losing badly after both Pitt games and TeXans game this year.
Ravens sub par play on the road combined with a short prep week should prove most problematic vs Pats team on a roll avg. 29 pts in 9 straight games having not lost a game since losing to Gigantes about two months ago.
Giants - Pats re-match ?
I hope so
Last year , Pats-Ravens battled into OT with Flacco going 27/35
285 yrds 2 TD's while Brady went 292 yrds 1 TD 2 int.
But that was October 17 early in the season without the fatigue and bruises Ravens will have to deal with playing on the road on a short week in January vs. Pats en fuego with Tom Brady Hell bent on payback.
In comparison to upcoming Pats matchup , Ravens recent road loss @ San Diego appears as the most significant match of importance shedding light on Balty's consistent struggles on the road while facing a capable top notch QB in Phil Rivers who torched Ravens secondary via 6 different receivers for 10 + yards avg.
Final score 34 - 14 Chargers
TeXans have a far more superior n' punishing Defense than Pats and that appears to be the only good news with Ravens licking their TeXans wounds . Flacco will not get sacked 5 times and Rice can't do any worst than last week. Ravens should score around 23 pts vs softer Pats D.
However Bill B n' T Brady are obviously set with a chip on their shoulders with a take no prisoner attack that will ignite Brady's multiple weapons to a minimum 35 point plateau.
PATS 35 RAVENS 23

In this game I'm taking the defense over the offense and going for the Baltimore Ravens +9 points. They beat the Patriots in 2009 playoffs. I believe the Ravens had a much tougher schedule than the Patriots this year. The Ravens played 7 games against 4 Playoff-bound teams this year and they won all of them. They beat the Steelers twice, they beat the Bengals twice, they beat the Texans twice, and they beat the 49ers. The Patriots played 3 playoff-bound teams in 4 games and only won two of those games. They lost to the Giants and the Steelers and they played the Broncos twice and won both games. The Ravens have been tested. They have beaten some of the best teams in football. Ravens +9

Valid point "Aces"
Ravens did have a tougher schedule and it appears the punishment taken from such a schedule has taken it's toll on Balty (especially on the road ) while Pats have breezed through softer ,less physically defensive teams than Pitt - TeX - Brownies and Bengals.
If this game was @ Balty via round one, I'd like Balty's chances but at this point after punishing game vs TeXans n' Pats cake walk vs Broncos,it's hard to imagine Bruised Balty being able to keep up with rested Pats explosive offense @ Foxboro.
Just saying.

11 of his last 16 games he has played against a top 10 defense.... and New England does not have a top 10 defense
what's his record in his last 16?
This is an elite football team....
and the line is 9 points?
Ravens defense has a feel for this offense.....
with that being said.... NE was very impressive last week against a very good Denver defense.... NE defense was impressive against TEBOW.... I was amazed lol.....
however, Joe Flacco will have a great game..... and Ray Rice will not be stopped....
I would be surprised if Baltimore wins another game in Foxborough vs. Brady/Belicheck....
but 9 points to an elite team?
ALL DAY!
GL TO ALL!
You are on CRACK! Where are you getting 9 points from????? Joe Flaccid is an underachieving Delaware Dolt. He sucks, Ed Reed knows it, I know it and you will too. The team is good. They need a qb that knows what the hell he is doing. I guarantee they will NEVER win a super bowl with Joe Flaccid as QB

I took balt to win the afc championship @ 5 to 1. $1000 to me if balt wins.
I like the +9, I'm hoping Balt D hold it to a low scoring game and Flack can still on the feild. Otherwise NE may get it, Bardy looked on fire last game, he was mad at lack of attention pai.d to him
I would think about hedging if I were you. Put like 400 or 500 on Pats ML.

You do know the Ravens won a super bowl with Trent Dilfer in 2000. Just saying.

I'll take Trent differ over joe fucco. Dudes a bum who softens up in big games. He's done it over Andover and will droit yet again this year. He won't ever win the big game. He don't have it inside of him. Too soft

7 points is where it should of opened in the beginning.. I thought 9 was too high. $ will start to flow on NE and the line could end up creeping back up to 7.5 or 8.
I am still not sure what to make of this game... Belicheck has been adding some interesting wrinkles like using Hernandez out of the backfield. Not only did he rush for 60 yards, he gives them an extra TE to throw to out of the backfield position.. Smart. And Gronkowski is playing out of his mind. How do you cover a guy like that? If you double team him, then that leaves Welker or Branch with one on one on the outside. IF Brady has pocket time, he will pick them apart. That's the question, will he be pressured?
Then there is Baltimore, with that core set of defenders - Reed, Lewis, Suggs, Ngata. Yes, getting older as a whole but I believe are hungrier than ever. Remember, Lewis is the only one from this bunch to get a ring, the rest of them want it bad and they realize with their age, they need to do it this year.. They know the key is to get to Brady, at least rush him and not let him get too comfortable in the pocket.
On the other side of the ball, I do believe Ray Rice will have a huge game (150+ total scrimmage yds would not surprise me at all versus the NE defense). With Rice, it should set up second and short and give Flacco a chance to take shots downfield to Bolden or Smith.
Plenty of points will be scored in this game to go OVER 50.
I see both teams scoring at least 27 pts.
Still not sure on the side. Leaning Baltimore right now. Good luck All....

NO vs SF was a dome team playing outdoors and they almost won. This is two outdoor teams and I think Balt. defense will not stop Tom Terrific. defense wins championships but that was pre-internet days. leave it to guru Bill to find a way to overcome Harbough then get revenge over Eli who has beaten him twice. third time will be the charm. No Harbough versus Harbough. sorry, save that for another year. besides no rookie Headcoach has ever made it to the SB in his first year.
