Couldn't agree more with the Colonel on this thread. Flacco has to step it up, plus the off. coordinator has to come with a more aggressive game plan, or else the Ravens are history. I did say I felt (in my post) that Baltimore will likely cover. However, I feel the game will be very close and I actually feel NE has a legitimate chance to win SU. However, the line is inflated, and I'm siding with Baltimore on the spread.

A couple interesting facts...
I think prior to last weeks game vs houston, like 36 of their 48 of Ravens's sacks (give or take) were at home.
Ed reed is really banged up.
NE OLine has allowed some ridiculously low number of sacks the last 4-5 games, vs all year. They are all healthy now, and are built to protect Brady.
The officiating crew calling this game has called the FEWEST holding penalty plays then any other crew the entire season. Also, as a whole, the officials have really been letting the playoff teams "play" and not throwing many flags unless its a blatent fowl or clear unnecessary roughness...ALSO>>>this same crew leads all other officiating crews on pentalties called related to roughing the passer, late hits to QB, Helmet to helmet, etc.
NE (but still cant decide if they cover, i am leaning yes.)

i agree with what u guys are saying it looks like pats should roll over ravens. specially after seeing a 3rd string rookie qb pass on them easily. only INTs were his fault for throwing them up for grabs. and the one he threw where guy undercut it was just poor decision on tight coverage. take away the muffed punt and short field on the int and balt couldnt score and they woulda lost.
however. in the National Fixed League i think this is going to come down to a rematch of the coaching brothers Harbaughs. the rematch in the superbowl. the NFL will love this publicity.
i could be totally wrong as i was abt the steelers beating denver. but im just saying im taking any points ravens get and taking SF + or - points.
so even though pats should roll im leary abt the NFL.
good luck all

Very good point BreakaBookie. "Quality Wins (wins against teams with a winning record) is very often overlooked by cappers looking for serious reasons, rather than superficial ones for backing a team. I might also add that NFL teams both conferences with a better points allowed per game in the regular season (since 1970) has been covering in both the AFC & NFC Championship games at 71.9% (46-18-2)

Remember the Ravens on the road this year goes something like this:
Lost by 13 to the Titans
Lost by 5 to the Seahawks
Lost by 20 to the Chargers
Lost by 5 to the Jaguars

I agree and the difference in that game was turners by NO. NE will not give the ball away to the Ravens like Houston did last week. They are not facing a rookie QB in his second playoff game this week.

Pats had a cuupcake schedule this year. The only quality teams they played, Pitt and the Giants, both resulted in losses. And they drew a pathetic Denver who shouldn't of even been in the playoffs. . .see Miami and Chicago game.
Baltimore will be their third quality team, that they face, all three having a solid defense in common.
Meanwhile, Baltimore's schedule alot tougher facing Pitt twice, Cincy twice, Houston twice, and SF,
Balitmore gets no respect with this line. . .I'll take the points.
