Has anybody taking TEN gone back and looked at the first game. Play by play reveals the Ravens really dominated the game, back when Flacco was very raw might I add. Score was 10-6 BAL with 6 minutes left, and TEN was down to 3rd and 10 on their own 20, threw an incomplete pass, and then Suggs gifted them a 15 yard personal foul. Later in the drive they gave TEN an nice 12 men on the field for 5 more. Bal should have won.
Rushing yards were 132 for BAL, 47 for TEN. Both teams have great defenses, but TEN uses a more finesse running attack with Johnson, whereas BAL will just run it down your throat.
If it comes down to passing, I'll put my money on the secondary that has Ed Reed.
Last time both QBs threw 2 pics, I think Flacco has matured enough to limit it to one this time.
Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch may be rusty and not 100%. Mawae may not play, making it even tougher to run inside against the BAL.
If the public jumps on TEN wait till it hits 3.5 and take BAL. They may lose but cover, take the points in close games.

One more point... the books are tacking extra vig onto BAL (-120). They do that for the team they think will cover because otherwise they don't make any more money. Last week both Balt and Philly had extra vig an covered.

great post...I agree...I think the Ravens have been looked away from but I think they are solid...they fix the Titans games so I dont like betting with their matchups....but I think the Ravens will give them a challenge....they are good no question....

all i know is that i am going to this game and it should be a great one. baltimore has been dominant. i went to see them in texas stadium and i won good money on them yesterday. both teams have been great against the spread all year. my action would have to be on the titans though. no real reason other than home field.

early lean on baltimore flacco seems to be playing good. that defense is nasty. balt had that game earlier in the season and handed it to the titans. or maybe a middle buying balt up and tenn in the ml. either way not sure.

i hate to back a rookie qb on the road, but kerry collins does not strike fear in me on the other side. - this ravens defense is playing great right now, and i'm sure ray lewis will also amp up the troops on the revenge angle (home loss to tenn on 10/5). have to take the pts here.

In the 9 teams each has played this season the average score has been. Ravens 24 to 15 and Titans 20 to 12.Ravens won their last 3 by an average of 29 to 13 . Titans only won 1 and lost 2 average score 14 to 16. On the road Ravens average 25 to 19 at home Titans average 25 to 16.I think Ravens win straight up
I'll go Ravens and the over.

i live in baltimore and love the ravens. this is going to be a very tough game. i really think its going to come down to special teams, turnovers, and the team that can get a run game going. call me a homer but i think baltimore is better then tennessee in all those areas. ed reed is god
