I love this game. Carolina ALWAYS plays TB tough here at Raymind James Stadium. The O/U in this game is only 36. This will be kept close and I believe Carolina comes out on top. I will have a pick for this game.

Trap spread? CAR looks like a contender in the NFC while TB is middling at 3-2 and lucky to be. Griese is out..and a 1 point favorite?

Jake Delhomme is 7-1 against Tampa Bay since coming to Carolina in 2003. The Panthers have scored at least 21 points in all seven of those wins. In those games, Delhomme has thrown for 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Delhomme did not face the Bucs last year due to an elbow injury.

I like Carolina here. That offense is balanced and clicking. I think they put up at least 24 points in this one. Tampa should at least 14.

I'm feeling you on this one.  Tampa isn't even sure of who they're going to roll with at QB.  Gruden made a comment about how watching film on that nasty Carolina defense had made him nervous so he turned it off and walked away.  That tells me that you gotta go with the team that has more offensive weapons, and that is Carolina by far.  Besides, Carolina has won the last 5 in a row in Tampa.  Why not 6?

On Sunday, the Buccaneers coach will see why the Panthers' have frustrated so many opponents this season when Carolina looks to create further separation atop the NFC South. The Panthers (4-1) lead the division thanks to one of the NFL's best defenses, which has held opponents to five touchdowns the last four games and 268.6 yards per game overall - fourth-best in the NFL. Carolina hasn't allowed a touchdown in its last nine quarters, shutting out the Kansas City Chiefs 34-0 last Sunday after limiting the Atlanta Falcons to three field goals in a 24-9 victory on Sept. 28. Still, defensive end Julius Peppers doesn't think the team's done anything special yet.
 
 
Gentlemen, I don't even know why The Panthers are getting points here, but take them, they are a gift that you won't even use, stick them in your closet, give them to another team, whatever, but you won't need them...
