Easy win outright for the Falcons. Bears have the 28th worse pass defense. Falcons are at HOME. Georgia Dome , Hotlanta...
If Michael Turner (Nfl league leading RB in yards and TDs) does in fact get "shut down" , which i highly doubt , Then we will see the NFL's future top QB pick apart the weak Bears secondary. In fact, Roddy White may have a career day against Nathan Vasher ? Bears only hope to winning this game is if Kyle Orton can come through because as of now the Falcons weak spot is pass defense. Matt Forte will get shut down easily. Falcons special teams is better all around than the Bears so i can gaurentee you Devin Hester does not return anything. In fact, Jerious Norwood is more of a threat in this game at returning kicks. Look out for John "The Predator" Abraham who leads the NFL in sacks with 7, has 2 forced fumble, and has a blocked punt. Kyle Orton may come to realize his recent games we're flukes. Last years 6th overall draft pick,Right End Jamaal Anderson has still yet to record a sack in 21 games as a NFL starter. He may just get it this Sunday. Falcons Corners have the advantage over the helpless Bear wideouts. Who are they ? Davis , Booker , Lloyd and Hester ? Chris Houston will stick them like GLUE. Houston has not been burnt yet this season and has shut down top WRs throughout the first 5 games. And Brent Grimes has proven he can go with any WR under the height of 6'1 which none of the Bears WRs come close to. I can see the Falcons going up big early and just running away with this game. I can tell you this, The fans down in HOTLANTA absolutely LOVE rookie head coach Mike Smith.
Falcons 27
Bears 13
It is key to win home games in the NFL. Falcons must win home games to stay atop the playoff race. Remember, as i stated week 1, in the past five seasons in the NFC South Division, the team who finishes last, comes in first place the year after.
Good luck to all.

After the big win in GB last week there is going to be a little bit of a let down here. Chicago has played very well in domes this year covering as a dog and a favorite which was last week even though it was Detriot.
Probably roll with the Bears to win in a FG style low scoring game! Will see more research. GLTA

Surprise- atlantasports has picked the Falcons.

Da Bears is bums. They can't win in domes, they're an outdoor and grass team. Besides which, Detroit's coming off of a bye week. They can't lose, this ones a lock.
Orly?
Same sh*t different pile.

WTF!?!?!?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! - Hey Ozy - tell ya what, I'll give you the Lions +26, how's that sound huh? Anyways.....
The Falcons have been playing way over their head so far this season. I think the Bears put out the flame of Michael "Burner" Turner this week & make Ryan throw it. Take Da Bears

Allright - maybe I misread the quote, but if I did, then that means you're comparing the Falcons to the Lions?? C'mon now, they're not that bad..... Nobody's that bad!!!!!!!!! I still say Da Bears.....

The bears have the 28th ranked pass defense because they have been so stout against the run, and they have been beating down every opponent they have played in the first half, forcing the team to completely abandon the run and throw (see griese 67 times)
Devin Hester is the best return man of all time. There is no debating this. Your claim that the falcons ST is better than the bears is completely laughable. The bears are regarded around the league as having the premier special teams unit in the NFL. Pro bowl kicker and pro bowl return man. End of discussion.
You talk of nathan vasher like he's a scrub. He was a member of the all rookie team and a pro bowler as early as 2 years ago.
You beat detroit and KC at home. Congratulations...those two teams are garbage. Last sunday against a struggling and injury depleted packers team was a good victory, but you got spanked against carolina and tampa bay...teams which the bears outplayed all game before completely falling apart in the fourth quarter.
The bears are clearly the more talented team in this one, but we all know talent isn't the only determining factor in football. I'm impressed with Matt Ryan, I didn't expect him to show signs of becoming a very good NFL QB this early in his career. This game will be a dogfight.
As a chicago bear fan I will not be playing this game. I haven't been able to overcome my bias to bet most bears games...although last week was cake

Da Bears defense will shut DOWN Michael Turner....
and Abraham is a beast.... when he was on my Jets I saw that guy rip through 3 offensive linemen to get to the qb..... just figure that every run to his side will get shut down.... ATL corners are decent at best, the these Bears wideouts aren't sitting atop the league.....
I see a defensive struggle.... maybe a 5 point differential at most.... this is gonna be an ugly game.....

Though they've showed improvement since the Vick saga; the Falcons are still one of the those teams whom the Bears look at as "a team we should beat". They won't be caught out of stride. Chicago wins this game. Maybe by a bunch.

You guys need to lay off atlantasports. I have a feeling some of you are picking the bears because you don't like him. Not very smart.
Not sure how a lot of you think the Bears on the road is a lock. Kyle Orton is due for a letdown game. He's playing wayyyyy over his head right now. The Falcons have been great at home, yes against the Lions and Chiefs but they destroyed both of them. Neither game was close. Good teams kill bad teams.
Matt Ryan won't be scared of the Bears defense.

Perhaps he should be. There isn't a better linebacker in football right now than Lance Briggs. Mike Brown will still take your head off over the middle. And with the emergence of a suddenly deep defensive tackle position with the improved play of israel idonije, dusty dvoracek, marcus harris and a returning rejuvenated tommie harris combined with the solid constant play of alex brown and wally ogunleye, this is the best defense he has seem all year.

here are my EARLY pro leans for this weekend. i'm trying to stay away from totals because neither coach or team gives a shit what the total ends up. i haven't looked at injuries yet but i usually know the big ones, from fantasy. i'm a giants fan, so i tend to favor the nfc east, but that hasn't hurt me this year.
1:00 chi at ATL +3 1:00 oak at NO -7.5 1:00 CAR +1 at tb 1:00 stl at WAS -13.5 1:00 CIN +6 at nyj 1:00 DET +13 at min 1:00 bal at IND -4 4:15 DAL -5 at ari 4:15 PHI -4.5 at sf
? 1:00 mia at hou ? 4:15 jac at den ? 4:15 gb at sea ? 8:15 ne at sd ? 8:30 nyg at cle
so i've got 5 road teams, 4 home teams, 4 dogs, 5 faves, and 5 games undecided. i usually buy to an even number if its within 1, like -7.5 to -7 and +2 to +3. but i don't buy the hook like +3 to +3.5 or -7 to -6.5 because if it's that close at the end, my pick wasn't that great anyway so i'm happy with pushing. i also play moneylines, almost strictly on home dogs like atlanta this week. best of luck this weekend.
