and Abraham is a beast.... when he was on my Jets I saw that guy rip through 3 offensive linemen to get to the qb..... just figure that every run to his side will get shut down.... ATL corners are decent at best, the these Bears wideouts aren't sitting atop the league.....
I see a defensive struggle.... maybe a 5 point differential at most.... this is gonna be an ugly game.....

I will leave this game alone, but agree with you on this under. It shouldnt be ignored. Bears should shut down the run and make it more difficult for Ryan to get the passing game going. I also see that underrated Falcons defense making it hard on the Bears as well. If you take a look at the Falcons defensive line, it may be the most underrated in the NFL. It's stacked with talent.

even though the falcons are 3-2, i think this may be a bit of a trap game for the bears with the vikings up next. love the fact that this line has gotten up to 3, though i see the falcons moving to 4-2

I was leaning towards Chicago, but there are WAY too many people on the Bears for that line to hold at 3 and my book is charging more juice for the Birds. May put a small amount on the Falcons ML just for grins, but the under here is money. GL.

Atlanta, really? C'mon, the pick is Chicago here. The Bears have played much better teams and lost their two by a total of 6 points. The reason Chicago's pass D doesn't look good on paper is because teams struggle against the run and end up throwing the ball. Teams have thrown against Chicago a total of 217 times (which included about 70 in an OT loss vs. Tampa). second in the league is SD with 207 PA against, third is NO with 184. Having 30+ more attempts against you in five games than third highest in the league will skew the numbers in your pass D. On the run D side they lead the league in fewest RA against with under 20. The only team that did run the ball was Carolina and if you take away the 24 yard run Williams had they finished with 90 yards on 30 carries. Even still, with the big run, 31 for 114 is still under 4.0 per carry. Remove the Carolina game altogether and the bears have only faces 68 rushes in the other 4 games.
Atlanta will go as far as Turner will carry them. Against the league's 27th, 30th & 31st run Ds Turner was money. But then, who isn't against teams like Detroit and Kansas City. Against Carolina & Tampa (ranked 13 & 14 run D respectively), Turner piled up a whole 98 yards on 32 attempts. What is making anyone think he'll do anything against #4?
Orton has looked much more impressive against better competition than the rookie Ryan. Asking Ryan, with no 200 yard passing games yet, to beat the 23rd ranked (with skewed numbers) Chicago pass D, even at home, is too tall an order. Orton's past 3 games? 800 yards, 7 TDs, 4 ints. Five of the TDs coming against better pass D than Atlanta.
Chicago is a much better squad on both sides of the ball. And the home crowd for Atlanta isn't trying to run into one of league's best defenses.
Throw any trend you want out there, what happened seven years ago has nothing to do with the mismatch today. Chicago wins and they win by a lot.

i've been fading chicago all season thinking they aren't as good as they are. i think it's time i start backing them and now seems like the perfect spot. atlanta is improved, but the bears should come in and be able to control this game through the run and their special teams play. i'll take da bears -3.

Actually , Falcons lead the NFL in total rushing yards
Not only do you have to stop The Burner who has 543 yards and 6 tds , but you have to stop Jerious Norwood who has 249 yards on only 38 attempts and 1 td.
