Why do you think the road team is 7 - 2...because Pittsburgh has been the road team 3 of the last 4.
Bengals are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 meetings. Meaning PITT is 4-0 SU and 4-0 ATS. Three of those games PITT had to play on the road, not CINCI.
The games Cinci covered the scored over 28 points and had Carson Palmer at QB, a Pro-Bowl receiver in Chad Johnson and TJ H...., and a very good RB in Rudi Johnson. Things are a little different on the offensive side of ball. Especially with injuries on the O-line.
Very different circumstances tonight...One reason you can't always look at past games.

Irish :: I tend to agree with you most of the time but no way in hell does Cinci score 20 tonight...If they score 20 then they may win outright if PITT is playing that poorly on DEF.

I'm in Pa, closer to Philly. We're seeing snow, but nothing sloppy. No accumulation whatsoever here.
I wouldn't give weather too much consideration when capping this one.

Really? Chad Johnson makes no difference if he is or is not playing in this game? Chris Henry is better than him as a number 2?
Get serious man, Chad Johnson is an all-pro, pro bowl and top 10-15 wide receiver in the league. TJ may be having a better year but Chad is the better receiver. I think he's an idiot, but he's better. What I was saying is that it matters if he's playing because this allows Ike Taylor to shadow TJ all game now instead of Chad. Two of the Steelers top 3 cornerbacks are out this week. If TJ was going up against William Gay that would be a huge mismatch. Now Ike can be lined up against TJ and Gay can line up against Chris Henry, who seems to be suspended for at least 4 games every year. Chad's an idiot, but Chris Henry is a bigger idiot.
Just a couple of stats on Chad Johnson from the 2007 season: His yardage was third most in the NFL, his receptions were 12th most, and his touchdowns were tied for 15th most in the league. His 1,440 yards set a new Bengals franchise record, breaking his own record of 1,432 in 2005.
