Cleveland at Buffalo (11/17/2008)

I am not on the UNDER for the weather only..I believe the Browns will try and establish the run...IMO I see a ground battle here. I think you have two teams going in the same miserable direction and they are going to want to eliminate turnovers, run the clock, and try and get the lead. This is also my reason for taking the Browns +5.5. 

Don't let the rather high -5 for Buffalo fool you. It still won't creep to +6, despite most all of the public going heavy on Cleveland.

Brady Quinn will be exposed as his true mediocre self tonight. Not since Joe Montana have Notre Dame QBs been the same; that was 1979! Quinn couldn't expose a sorry Denver secondary. Admittedly, his numbers were above average, yet again, it was the seeping-with-holes Broncos.

Don't fall into this bite game: Everyone and their gold-tooth cousin will find Buffalo can't beat anyone with such a gulf of a spread. Yet, bear in mind, the Bills are a different animal at home.

Going Buffalo 24 Cleveland 14 (well outside of any buying up or down, and what is likely heavy money on the Over)

careful bud. i wouldnt let the weather affect your pick. Its pretty clear in Buffalo, with light flurries, with little wind. Erie is south of Buffalo. Thats where all the snow has been expected to fall. There is little to no snow falling, and there really isnt expected here. I promise when you turn on the T.V tonight, you will have a hard time even seeing any snow falling. Maybe later in the game, but snow will not affect this game. GL all.

No one is ever due for anything..you're not due to cover, players aren't due for big games, and teams aren't due to win. Everyone was on Jacksonville yesterday because the TITANS are due to lose...well, they didn't lose...they won and covered. Are the due to lose this week at home against the JETS? If Buffalo is due isnt Cleveland due?
