Favre is hot with the Minnesota Viking and he will take his team to win this home game....they are 8-0 at home and, 3 points favorite................Minnesota vs New Orleans Line Minnesota by 3
Farve and the Vikings are hot? What the hell are you smoking? If you exclude the layup game they played against the dying, unmotivated Giants, the Vikings were 1-3 to close out the season.
Yes, the Vikings are 8-0 at home. Do you know who else was 8-0 at home? The Patriots. How’d their first playoff game go?

On paper these teams are almost equal in terms of how good they are; however, the Cowboys are red hot and the Vikings are ice cold.Hmm, now who usually does better in the playoffs: teams that peak halfway through the season and turn ice cold late or teams that play above average-good during most of the season and turn red hot late?
It doesn’t take a genius to see how this is going to play out.
Ice Cold? You didnt get to watch their last game did you? Granted it was against the Giants, but Favre and the Vikings straight sliced and diced them and looked damn good doing it. Dallas is red hot, but they were a bunch of choke artist at the beginning of the year. Minn has been solid all year, especially at home. Ill take Adrian Peterson, Favre, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin, Jason Allen, home-field advantage, ect.......the list goes on, and they all matchup better than the other team. Congrats to Dallas on getting that no playoff wins monkey off there back. Back to Reality. It doesnt take a genius to see that Minnesota wins this game by at least a field goal.

Now your saying the Vikings will loose cause the Patriots lost. Your on crack dude. I watched the Vikes Giants. I dont believe the Giants D was laying down. That secondary was pissed. Pissed because they had absolutely no answer for the Fire Power that Favre and the Vikes were bringing. Dont look at that game as an easy win. They were showing that they were back in Sync.

I honestly hope you are joking otherwise you know about as much about football as I do about nuclear fusion. That last game the Vikings played means jack shit. Everyone and their mother knows that the Giants phoned in that game.Hell, the Rams probably could have beaten the Giants in that situation.
Minnesota has been solid all year? No, kid, they haven’t.They are the classic team that does great at the beginning and middle of the season and then starts to tail off towards the end and it carries over into the playoffs.
Also if you honestly believe that every Vikings player matches up better that the Cowboy player they will be facing on the other side of the ball you are either high or legally retarded.

Favre looked older down the stretch as everyone mentioned. The Vikings do not see a defense with as much power as this one up front and linebackers like this. Opposite of what the Vikings need to have a good chance. With Peterson stopped, it will be up to old man Favre to beat the Cowboys. He cant. He was old and throwing interceptions 6 years ago. His backyard style of QB is not good for playoff games like this going up against another NFC Defense. His arm is not what it was and he cant throw a good bomb anymore. He will rely on short passes to Rice and thats it. Try to run around with Harvin but Linebackers to quick and will punish the Rookie when he sees the ball. Home distractions not there for Cowboys is better. The Giants sucked this year at the end. The Viking game is not a good one to go on. If you watched it like you said you saw a team packing it in cuz their season was over. The week before Carolina beat them up. OK JASON Allen

Speaking of Divisions... How bout the NFC East, the Redskins, only lost in Dallas because Shawn Suisnam missed a gimme field goal. Who does he play for now?? That's right, The COWBOYS!! The Giants started out the season with a weak schedule and were way overvalued, their defense was awful all year. And yes the Eagles did make the playoffs, but didn't they also lose to Oakland?? Dallas has one quality win all year, and it was at New Orleans, but how are we suppsed to believe in NO after losing to Tampa at home the following week??
All that said, the Vikings manhandled Green Bay twice and this game has a similar feeling to the 1st Green Bay game, except Adrian will not fumble this postseason!!
Vikings 31- Cowboys 13

No pick yet but I have been on the cowboys most of the year and have not bought in to any of the winning in december or romo sucks crap. Congrats to the cowboys because i always new that you were good. I would love to take the cowboys here but there is a lot of value in Minnesota minus a field goal or less in a home playoff game. Will the dallas offensive line continue to take bad pentalies. If so this will cost them in what is a tremendous home field advantage. No pick yet but just saying that i think the line should be around 4 or 5

Gotta give the Cowboys their props...their defense has been great down the stretch and they finally got their playoff win with Romo behind center and the future looks great for the Cowboys
Tough game to call as Favre shows that he still has some magic left in that aging body of his. Peterson is a beast but I really hate that he does fumble alot.
Both teams are basically even I feel that the 2.5-3 point line is just the Vikings home field advantage. Should be a great defensive battle and a hard one to choose a side unless you are a fan so I'm probably laying off this one.

I really think this may be the easiest game on the board this weekend. Dallas is overmatched in almost each big offensive position, with maybe a slight tight end adavntage with witten over shiancoe. Qb, wrs, rb, all favor minn. The defenses I believe are fairly even, with both having good pass rushes. Minnesota may have a better rush d but I still feel Dallas' d is not that bad. The Vikings at home are very good. They haven't given up more than 10 (yes TEN) points at home since the beginning of Novermber. Eveyrone loves dallas because they are "on fire." They are not on fire. They beat the eagles, twice. The eagles who did NOT have a running game at all. The eagles who did not beat any quality teams throughout the entire season, and were not even able to beat all the bad teams they faced(radiers). Too much credit is being given to beating up on the pass-happy eagles. The line is so small because the public as always only remembers the last week (as is the norm) and will bring in plenty of money on the Dallas side, because people believe they are "on fire."
Vikings -2.5
Vikings 30- Cowboys 20.

Most people have forgotten that MIN has been given an extra week to rest and prepare for their first play off game. You could argue this could make them turn cold, but anyone who has every played football knows how important a bye week can be for a team to regroup and lick any wounds that they have accumulated.
IMO special teams will be the deciding factor. I look for Harvin to make all the difference in this game for MIN. Field position will be the main factor in this game.
The other as it is with all games is the turnover ratio, which is directly related to the previous factor. If either team turns the ball over in their own territory they will have a very slim chance at winning.
I'm for MIN in this one, but I think it will all be decided in the 4th.

Early Lean on Favre at home. Romo Choke in this game The Experience of Favre wins this one for the Vikes who emotionally want it more than the Boyz. IMO.

GL on your bet, but don't forget that the Eagles return game was held in check due to the kicker on Dallas kicking a field goal when KICKING OFF the ball... the kick and punt returners didn't really get out of the endzone....
Now if you remember the game against the bears.... the Vikings played horrible special teams coverage and Chicago's special teams put them in a great position to win that game....
However, Farve did impress in that game and did his job....
Minn has an extra week to prepare and correct their special teams coverage....
There is definitely a noteable mismatch between the 2 field goal kickers... Vikings have a huge edge....
still leaning towards Dallas.....

He kicked a field goal on the kick off because of a penalty which was enforced on the kickoff. It gave him something like 15 more yards.
But the guy can kick for sure.
GL with your bet btw.
