I think 808 should makes us a deal.  If the Saints lose today, you have to take a screwdriver and pry the CapsLock key off your keyboard.  Then place it in your driveway and run over it until nothing is left but dust.

I'd take the Cowboys +7.5 at home... But, against this Saints team, on primetime, and @ home?? I haven't seen a team rise to an occasion like the Saints in a long time. The last two close games the Saints have played came on the road. Don't let this confuse you. I think the Cowboys losing & the Saints not covering last week helps this line a bit. I see the Saints putting it to the Cowboys. Dallas has a running game, good one at that, but their aerial attack is suspect. They have their moments, but can never put together a full game of execution. The Saints at home define execution!! They score points, force mistakes, and play with emotion in the fourth qtr. These three things are the hardest to overcome as a visiting team.  

The biggest difference I see between these two teams are not necessarily with their records, or the stats, but the heart in which they play the game. Dallas has all the talent in the world, but doesn't play with heart. The Saints have some good talent, but every player on that team believes in each other and comes to play in front of a crowd that lives and breathes Saints Football. They will not let them down! 

Just a thought here, so don't crucify my analytical ways, but this is how I'm thinking this line favors the Saints... Both these teams have a good defense and both of these offenses can drive the ball. The stats & head-to-head phase of this equation show this to be a closer game than 7. Take the (3pt) home-team theory out of the mix and we're looking at a 4.5 pt game. This is where I find myself analyzing the line... If Dallas finished their drives, they'd be in a position to cover, even potentialy win this game. But, when Dallas does score, it's normally a "big" play. Their drives this season seem to fall short more than not. Now, throw into the mix that Dallas' field goal kicker is in a huge slump and the 3 points that could keep this a manageable 4 pt game goes by the wayside. (Not to mention how a missed FG sucks the air right out of an offense...) When a team can't trust their field goal kicker, they manage the game differently. This inconfident way of managing a game will most definitely cost Dallas points. A team that will go for it on fourth and short, instead of attempting the FG is a team that finds itself down by DD, more times than not!!  

What you have to ask yourself is will the Saints lay down in the 4th? If you think so, you haven't watched this team at home!! One stop for this Saints D on a fourth down, or one missed field goal by Dallas and this game is a blowout. 

I'll side with the public... Final play; Saints -7.5 ($3)

Line movement from 7 to 7.5 makes my gut feel better about the play too... (for all those, don't worry about the line cappers out there)
