It's hard to say who has the better defense when the Falcons have the best linebacker in the game. The best corner in the game. and the best d line in the game. The team is sooo reasilient. I'm extremely proud of my boys defensively. The way we owned Drew Brees week 16. We can shut down any offense even a pro bowl filled offene. We never give up. Only way the Falcons lose is if they beat themselves like week 16.
Guys the Dome will be rockin. We are all witness.

On the surface, Atlanta appears unbeatable at home. But are they? They were, until the Packers returned to Atlanta. The last time they met, the Pack lost a close one by the score of 20-17 in WK # 12. While both teams are somewhat comparable on "O", I feel Green Bay is clearly superior, with their "D"! Since that time, the Packers have been getting it done. GB excels in domes, artificial surfaces, and on the road. I see them meeting their rivals in Soldier Field next week. Getting points in this situation, is "icing on the cake"!
GREEN BAY + 2
Hope you're right my Brother.

Spoken like a true Homer!!!! LOL!!! I think your judgement may be a 'little bit clouded" by your allegiance to your team. No doubt the Dome will be rockin......but I think you may be "witnessing" your last game of the year....The Packers won't be fazed by the home crowd or the stigma of your Dome........
PACKERS +the chalk here........

As much respect as I have for Matt Ryan as a Qb & a human being & the fact that he grew up not far from me, I have to side for the Pack, I know Matts home record, the fact they beat the Pack this year,,,,,,, with (9) seconds left in the game I just feel Vegas would have made the Falcons a (3) pt favorite instead of 2.5,,,,,,,, if they thought the Falcons were gonna win, they WANT Atlanta $$$$$$$$$ & that 2.5 will BRING it,,,,, same applies to Pitt -3.5,,,,,, they want Raven $$$$$$$$
Everyone & their mother thinks this is gonna be a 3 point game,,
NO CHANCE,,,,,,,,, Pitt by 7 MINIMUM,,,, enough said!

Don't over think about this game fellas. I definitely see the Packers taking it by a few points.
I know one shouldn't compare a regular season game to a playoff game because things are different. But I have to give the Packers the big edge. They had no running game in Atlanta this season, so Aaron had to throw the ball, which made it very easy for the Falcons defense to predict the calls. Even it seemed easy for the Falcons, it wasn't. Aaron did very well throwing the ball considering his numbers.
It's a different story now. It appears like the Packers have a stronger defense. Aaron looks like he's got his game back after the mild concussion. James Starks, who I thought should've have been their showcase tailback sooner, looks strong. Oh, did I mention that many on the Packers squad have recent postseason experience as a team, more compared to the Falcons?
The line looks about right if I am an oddsmaker. People sees that the Falcons feature an awesome running back and a QB who may take the reign over Drew Brees as the best quarterback in the south. And yes, because they won their division and with a better season record, they deserve this line.
I expect the Packers to keep the same defensive intensive and mix in the running game, which they didn't have before when played in Atlanta. The Falcons will be in for a battle and will probably have a good experience being in the playoffs and losing to the Packers.
Just food for thought.
Green Bay +2.5 and ML

Good line of thinking, no doubt. My only objection is that you need a larger pool of people. There are not that many posters for either side for your go against the public theory.
With that said give me them boys from wiscy

Hard not to like Packs defense however one can wonder if not for Michael Vick's bonehead Int. instead of spiking ball that Philly could very well be playing in Chicago this weekend + Playoff Pack clinching victory vs Chi. was far from impressive vs. Flaky offensive Bears team.
IF this game were in GB , would be a no brainer ...
Just a good feel, dirty birds will be a flying HIGH at home.

Tough game to call for me...I feel the advantage here goes to the Falcons who plays solid at home. I'm hoping they are fired up early in this game and use the homefield advantage.
Leaning on the Falcons at the half

Hard not to like Packs D however with Philly driving to score last week, if Vick would of spiked ball instead of inexplicably tossing an INT in closing minute , Philly could very well be playing in Chicago this weekend.
+ Packs playoff clinching win vs Chicago was far from impressive vs a questionable Bears offense.

GB has been hot, and did well against Patriots, ever since that game, they stepped it up to where they should be! Many injuries, YES but championship teams know how to overcome and step it up when injuries occur!!! I like the Pack here.......Giants had to win and they in, thats it-so Pack played and beat the G-Men when they were hungry, ......Bears- Lovie said he playing to win, that whole Bears team gave it their ALL to knock Pack out of playoffs, and Pack prevailed again!!!! WILDCARD WEEKEND--- Eagles and Vick been getting alot of attention, and praised to go to SuperBowl,,,,Vick had stated earlier in season that if he started against Pack instead of Kolb they would of won----well Vick started this time and still lost-----My point and what i like and see is 3 caliber good teams tried to beat the Pack at their hungriest moments in the game,,,,,and 3 games in a row , Packers found a way to win!!!!! Facts are facts, and when your hot----your hot!!! I like how Pack is running ball now as well-perfect time, but this is how and what championship teams do--and Packers are the perfect "poster" team of a championship team!!! Im on the bandwagon, and this game to me along with last game is like the NFC Championship team........gonna be great game, and Dom Capers has done great on defense-------GB Defense continues to play the way they have been, that to me is what will determine and control the game! GO PACK GO
