Green Bay's last two losses against Tennessee and Minnesota, TENN put up 170+ rushing yds and Minny put over 200yds. New Orleans averages 91 yds per game on the ground.

New Orleans receivers are banged up and will be depending on Colston (who is playing hurt), Shockey (who hasn't done much since coming back), and Lance Moore the lone standout. Green Bay is 3rd in the league against the pass and should be able to handle this receiving threat as long as the D-Line contains run.

To any of you that picked lasts night's game with the colts, you got lucky that Norv Turner is hands down the shittiest coach on the face of the planet. With an offence such as the one he has and to be losing games like last nights to a very sub par colts team you must be an idiot. He is more concerned with the ref's poor game calling, ie: retarded pass interference call that actually never happened, rather than putting his team in a position to win. I needed to vent, because if I didnt I would have to get on a plane to san diego show up at the training facility and walk up to to norv and slap the dog shit out of him......i feel better now...
 
 
 

 

There is no over rated QB or Shitty coach in the NFL, just better team. All These past year how everyone tell me Farve is over rated, old, wash up, finish ect but he alway proved critism is for the weakest mind. Zorn a 1st year HC was able to take the Skin to Seattle and beat his old boss. Believed me he, he is not that good but he just happen to run a NFL team in the NFC  East.

I'm leaning toward GB here, they sound to be a better team. Will see what happen at game time.

Some things to consider for tonights game: Saints are 14-27 ATS as a home favorite since 2001 and they're 21-37 ATS at home. Opening Line was -3, it's now -1. The Saints Are Banged Up - OUT: RB Aaron Stecker, TE Jeremy Shockey, DE Charles Grant, DT DeMario Pressley, ILB Mark Simoneau, CB Mike McKenzie, CB Tracy Porter, K Martin Gramatica. Green Bay destroyed Chicago 37-3, GB is finally healthy (with the exception of ILB Nick Barnett), Rodgers is throwing darts down the field, and Grant is running all over teams. GB also has an advantage with their secondary, they have better linebackers & D-Ends too. The Packers have one weakness, their run defense up the middle, but the Saints don't have a rushing attack. Deuce McAllister and Pierre Thomas are worthless. Reggie Bush is coming off an injury and sucks running the ball anyway! Defense is key in this game and the Saints dont have one. The Packers are one of the best teams in the NFL against the pass, with three players leading the NFL in interceptions this year. The Saints will rely heavily on the arm of Drew Brees, which means we might see some forced throws tonight. Neither of these teams have any trouble putting points on the board, we all know this, but believe it or not the Pack score 27.4 compared to the Saints 26.6 ppg.

Are you kidding me man, no totals of 50 or 51 have hit.........Do u even watch football, this is the NFL not the MLB pal....No offense man but seriously do u just never bet on the bfl or the totals or notice the scores at the end of games, I mean there were at least 4 games this Sunday that went over 51pts for the total, and thats just off the top of my head.....Anyway, in my opinion the basic MNF TREND this season, has been the public bet hits on the total, and fading the public has worked on the point spread........It makes me want to say New Orleans and the Over, but I just can't risk any of my hard earned bankroll from this week ($12,325) and that is a really good week for me, considering my max bet with my bookie is a dime.....anyway I just cant bet on New Orleans with that shotty ass defense of theirs, I do love the over though, and I know the Public is absolutely pounding the over but I just don't see how both teams don't get 3pts out of every drive they have, I bet there will only be two or three punts all game, green bay and the over looks like the best bet to me, small bet on the PACKERS of $250 and $1000 on the over, can't wait to collect from my bookie tomorrow for the fourth straight week, second best week for me all year, so far, knock on wood

I had over in my mind on this game for 3 days..but after thinking about it the better defense is green bay and they like to run...This total is in doubt...Have fear the entire thread is on OVER and that is a warning...

Monday Night lock I like the Packers at any price. I mean number wises I like the Packers tonight all due to their 5 straight cover wins coming into tonight and their 15-5-1 ATS mark in their last 21 road games. Now on the field I like the Packers even more tonight all due to Green Bay offense that is now getting production out of Ryan Grant who will continue shine tonight against a bad New Orleans defense that will have a hard time slowing down the passing game of Rodgers. Meanwhile, for the Saints their offense tonight is their only hope, but due to a tough match up against the third best pass defense Brees and company are in trouble given their lack of a rushing attack. So in a must win game for both teams I say the Packers have a slight edge over a rusty New Orleans team that is playing at home for the first time in six weeks. Bottom line, I see Green Bay having a huge game tonight as they improve to 6-5 with a win. All Green Bay!

I figured out how to play this game...Take the PACK to score more than 24.5 in the game...The weakest link in the game is the Saints D

After reading all of these posts and considering my own thoughts I have come to the conclusion of taking Green Bay which I have as a pick em.  I know that the public is all over them which makes me nervous, but they are a far superior team to the Saints.  Nevermind the identical 5-5 records, Green Bay should dominate this game.  Where the Pack struggles is stopping the run.  They have one of the best pass defense in the league and are the best in the league at putting up points when on the defensive side of the ball.  The Saints have already lost a primetime game at home against the Vikings and homefield hasn't been an overwhelming advantage for the Saints in the past.  I know Green Bay's road record isn't spectacular, but flying out to Seattle is a lot harder than going to New Orleans.  Plus they're used to the dome atmosphere since they go to Minnesota every year.  At first I really liked the over in this game and still kind of do, but I wonder if New Orleans will be able to put enough points on the board to get it over 52.  I think they will.
