That line dropped 2 points quick. I don't see the new and improved Bengals covering the number here. Maybe a little let down week after a big win vs. the Ravens. Even if they pull it out, it ought to be a close one.

the texans have the best reciever in the nfl and they sure as hell can score.. also they have a decent D. cinci are improved but the battle between these two teams have been good through the years. i would have to say i'm staying the f away. although my pick would be cinci for one reason, and that is because they are home

gotta take the bengals at home and i am a huge bengals fan i see the bengals winning by maybe a field goal, so i would take the texans and 4.5 and under 45

Early lean with the dog in what may be a final possession type of game. Both teams kind of have a knack for that.

  Bengals playing at another level now. Although, the Texans can heave the rock, don't see it against a very determined Cinci defense. If the Bengals can handle the likes of the Ravens, then the Texans are "toast" against the number!

this game has backdoor cover all over it....


Cincy will be up because the Texans start slow just like everyother week...

then schaub + co rallies back just to cover the spread....


I think cincy covers, and that offense opens up at home against this terrible texan D.... but again... I can see a classic backdoor cover with like 10 second left..... not to win just to ruin the favorite lol

Palmer is for real. Along with Benson and a Defense. WATCH OUT !!!!!  I think they can win the North and the AFC Championship...

what's wrong with this line? Cincinnati should be at ~ -9.5, everybody taking HOU Money Line or Cinci -5.
 
I think Cincinnati win this by 3.

There is a 'D' in Cincinatti, and it will prevail... enough for an under though? i think if Houston takes a step on the defensive side of the ball like they should, this can go under... Cedric b2b 100yd games keep the clock ticking all game looooooong..

I still don't think people believe that Cincy is for real.  They should be 5-0 right now.  Carson Palmer is healthy, OchoCinco is having his usual year, and the Bengals are playing D.  Cincy will keep it going knowing that they have a good chance to possibly win the division this year (Pitt playing a cupcake this weekend BTW).  I don't like the 4.5,  but I have to roll with the team that is really playing well right now.

it's not an issue of whether or not cincy is for real, it's much more so an issue of how they've been winning and it's all tight games, the only game they won by more than 3 was in green bay, but other than that, they've been covering spreads because they are dogs, not because they have been dominant.  They're like the steelers last year... they cover when you dog them or make them small favorites, otherwise they're going to screw off your money.

also just think situationally, off a HUGE divisional win in dramatic fashion on the road... this is just too perfect a spot for a let down.  Houston demonstrated last year that they matchup well with the bengals and are not only hungry for a win to put them at .500, but have the arial attack to hit cincy hard and quick and force them into comeback mode.

Personally, I think Schaub is a pretty decent QB.  Compared to Palmer, currently he has a higher completion percentage, better TD to INT ratio and more total yards.  The only thing that concerns me is the Bengal's running game.  If HOU can keep Cedric in check, they've got a good shot.

HOU has got to feel confident after last week's 2nd half against the Cards. It was a loss, but they moved the ball well and didn't allow a single point from the CARDS offense.

CIN is no doubt a good team, but something tells me that HOU gets up for this game and keeps it to a FG or they steal a win.

Also, for what it's worth, it appears that HOU covers the spread every other week, and last week they did not.

Cincinnati has played well at home . . . and against two stiff opponents (DEN & PIT).  The only two teams that Houston has beaten, are TEN & OAK.  This looks like the time for these kitties, to win by more than a field goal's worth of points (3).

take the points if you want them, but i think houston wins this one outright and the +215 ML is very tempting.
