This game feels like a trap, but I'll have to go with the better squad.

How can you not take the Colts in this one ?? 

I've been thinking about this game for a very long time.  There's so much to think about.

Any statistical data points to the Colts winning this game.  They won the last several match ups, better QB, all around more talented super bowl caliber team.  To top it off, Colts are a perfect 8-0 this year.

Who remembers last week's Colts/NE match up?  Anyone that bet the Colts lost and the majority of NE backers took the money line and lost.  Seems very convenient for the sports books. 

The Pats had that play on 4th and 2 easy.  I've watched it over and over.  I don't even blame Pat's coach.  Payton w/ 2 mins all it takes is for the refs to call 1 pass interference.  He might as well take his chances w/ 4th and 2.

I think it was 2 years ago pats and NE were both undefeated and there was a similar outcome.  Books won on both sides.

Colts -1 is not a line that will draw 50/50 action on either side.  When I placed my bet I asked the writer if anyone was betting Baltimore.  They hadn't had a single bet on Baltimore that day.  All Colts.

Sports betting is funny because before the game it feels so sure that the better team will win but during the game we're reminded that any given team can win any given game.

Now I had watched the INDY v Houston match up this year and Indy struggled seemingly without any legitimate reason.  Houston could be considered a worse team than Baltimore..

If Vegas wanted 50/50 action, the line would be Indy -7.  Even that may draw one sided action.  Indy -10 ??

This line is clearly very suspicious.  I think we can all agree it's not a line intended to draw 50/50 action.

I'm going to take my chances with BALTIMORE.  I'm purely playing the suspicious line.

BAL pk: will keep fading the Colts, especially with Ravens at home. The line is pretty shady, seems like Vegas is begging for action on the Colts and the public is obliging. While i like Peyton in general, i'll take the Ravens and Ray Lewis at home. Some of Manning's tosses last week were wounded ducks to wide open receivers, i see the Baltimore D getting into his head here too. Score: Ravens 21-Colts 18 (4 units).

dont understand how colts arent giving way more points.  and ravens arent really a well rounded team looking for the W.  yes they play super good against really good teams. but they never win. plus suggs not even being 100% is not good at all for this defense. the only person you have to watch out for is addai. but he will be ready.  look what he did second half against the patriots.  COLTS blow out ravens first half then just sit on the lead.

Balt. looked like shit on MNF & without a good D they w/h lost.& Browns kept them @ a piss poor score also

But, you're NOT shutting down the Indy offense as if they were the browns. there @ least 15 times better than those bark-less dogs & indys "D" is also better than the Brownies>hehe.

Here are my picks for Sunday. I have struggled for survival on college but my pro picks have been very good. Last week was tough in the NFL so I will look to have a nice rebound. Will the dogs rule again this week? I say things get straightened out this Sunday and so...

this gotta be the most interestin line of the year, Colts -1.5???? i really wonder wat tha line makers are trying to do......i thought for sure IND -3.5-4pts

 

i might have to sit this one out and jus watch tha game to see WHY ind is only at -1.5

The colts are 9-0 with a 4 game lead on the division while the ravens are scrapping to get into the playoffs still.  I don't think the team will coast just yet however, as the Jags & Texans both can close the division lead to 3 Games if the Colts Lose. 

The Colts have also had trouble stopping the run, and while Baltimore's offence is sputtering the last few games, I believe they might have more success converting some tds on the ground.  It doesn't have to be said that the colts will find a way to score also, which is why I'm taking over 44 in this one.

It's just too easy to bet on the Colts -2, therefore I'll be on the Ravens. This is just like last week's ATL @ CAR game when Carolina spanked that ass as a 2 point home dog. Ravens knock off the Colts tomorrow. Mark it, Dude.

Don't be a sucker.

At this time of the year, the lines are the toughest to beat, people always go broke towards the end of the year, remember that. Baltimore must win this game, Indy is feeling good about themselves and are probably taking it easy in practice going thru the motions. Baltimore stomped on Denver at home, when they came in riding high and the Ravens came out hungry. The Colts have been getting lucky as of late in their wins, this time, they won't get so lucky. One week a team can look unbeatable, and the next they can get stomped. The linemakers know everyone saw how poorly the Baltimore offense played against a Cleveland D, that was pumped for that challenge.

RAvens are clearly the play guys, if vegas wanted us to be 50/50 on this game thie line would be colts -7 cuz thats the only way the pub would be 50/50 so why would they try to "play with our minds" and hope we go for it when they can just make the line -7 which is the only way they level this game out, Ravens win today in a chilly baltimore stadium,. i dont know if any of you have been there, but its a loud crazy place

Have you not seen their schedule?  They easily have the toughest schedule in the league up to this point.  They should have won at Minn if it werent for a missed 44 yard field goal, inside a dome which should be relatively automatic for an NFL kicker.  Also, I hate to say it, but a loss at the Pats which if it weren't for a dropped pass at the end of the game by Mason I believe, they probably win that game.  This team is an extremely solid team.  I hope they don't make the playoffs cause I would rather not play them, but nevertheless, I will take them at home against an Indy team which quite frankly should have 3 losses by now, Miami, Houston, and the Pats

Baltimore wins by 10 minimum. Colts are 9-0. That record is the only reason their favorite bc they been winning with friggin mirrors. last three games all home could have easily lost all three. Colts have so many injuries its scary plus if the pats who were up 17 late in  the game hang on this line would be Balt-3. I personally think this game is a ten point win and beyond for baltimore. Peyton will come out on fire, you think he doesn't know he's the underdog. This is a big game and the colts will not come out lightly. When they have freeney and mathis to sack qb's no team but the patriots can score as much as them. NO one thats it.
