My inner wise guy likes the Chargers here, but I am going to fight that urge, rock my joe public pants, and take the Colts. 

The Chargers have no realistic shot of competing in the AFC West with both KC and Denver winning again. The pressure has to be eating them alive that they can't gain any ground in their super-competitive division. And I think that pressure works against them and Phil Rivers ends up trying to do too much. 

Meanwhile, the Colts have a chance to put a stranglehold on their division. The Texans are falling apart, the Titans are solid but will continue to struggle without Locker & have another tough match against the 49ers next week (and the Jags won't be making any noise anytime soon). We all know the Colts could be looking ahead to Denver next week, but that happens to be the reason why I think they will give one heck of an effort tonight. The Broncos will not allow the Sheriff to lose in his Indianapolis homecoming party so the Colts will want to win this to keep their momentum and avoid dropping 2 straight. 

San Diego's home field advantage also doesn't scare me that much. The game wasn't even a sellout till ESPN and a few sponsers bought the remaining tickets to avoid a blackout. 

I'm happy with losing my money tonight on the better team. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Agreed, as much as I hate to take such a big public play, with a game that looks too easy, I'm going to take the better team to win..

Its just how the teams match up..... MANNINGS COLTS were unsuccessful home and away against the bolts... Look for the CHARGERS to protect RIVERS enough to teach LUCK a few things. given protection their really arent many QB's like RIVERS in the league..... HeS  in the PEYTON, BREES, BRADY group and itll be a perfect excuse for INDY to say they overlooked the game.

You really think the COLTS have a better team than the COWBOYS???
COLTS havent played anyone... MIAMI horrible, SF horrible unless your a kaperD I CK fan - than guy should be playing peewee football, JAX horrible and they squeaked by SEATTLE.
 
On the flipside SD played @ Tenn tough home team, Dallas more than good team, @ OAK another tough crowd and HF advantage

This is tough one...the reason its a coin toss @ a 1 pt spread.
SD lost to fliipin HOU @ home  then won @ Philly the next week.
INDY lost to MIA @ home then beats SF away

Meanwhile INDY's only giving up 220 yds on the road
Still my gut lean is SD @ home on MNF under the lights, considering anyone can beat anyone any week anywhere in the NFL as we've all witnessed.

if i had a nickle for every time the better team lost. I bet everyone that says the line looks too easy but im taking them anyways loses alot of those!

SD OVER SD. Nfl trap Monday. I know Indy is a better team and they should clearly beat SD by at least a TD, but that's not the case according to Vegas. Over the past 6 weeks on Monday night, Vegas fucked over all the favorites. The underdogs always covered on Monday nights.
