Attending all of Phillip Rivers college games at NC State, I am a huge Phillip Rivers fan! However I just can't see a west coast team traveling AGAIN where temperatures will NOT get above freezing, up against the GOAT and a rested Patriots team opening playoff game at home. New England wins by at MINIMUM a touchdown. Patriots -4.

the patriots can win this game. it's cold and the chargers are a warm weather team. but i can't get away from the fact that the pats are a team on the decline. brady has been showing signs of his age as the season has progressed. can they flip the switch and suddenly be the pats of previous seasons? yeah maybe. but like longtime said, i think this charger team will be hungrier.
this game has a much better chance of going under than over.
Only one team from L.A. will win (Rams) this weekend. I know Chargers have won on read, but not at weather conditions like in New England. West coast team can't adapt to that weather (mid 20's). Mother nature is on the Pats side I'll take Pat's on the Money Line with the over on the Saints/Eagles (51 1/2).GL!

Okay...I'm liking the Pats...down to -3.5 ...don't think it will be decided by a field goal. Lots of traveling for "SD"..3 rd straight road game and they were on the East coast last week...I see Pats prepared...it will be all buisness...get 'er done...PATS!
