Let's come back on Sunday after the Packers beat the Vikings. I'll tell you why the Packs will win. Vikings may have the upper stats but it's not all about numbers here. Once you live here, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

So, you're gonna come back on the forum after the game has been played (with Green Bay assumedly winning - by your statement), and then tell others why the Packers will win?

How is that humanly possible?

Brett is on the injury list with a slight hip problem. Will they let him play using a walker ? ? ?

winning right around 50 percent. In games this close it typically comes down to turnover margin. The Packers need to protect Aaron Rodgers because many lost fumbles come off of sacks. If Rodgers is sacked no more than 3 times the Packers have a 66 percent chance. But if the Vikings sack Rodgers 5 or more times Green Bay only has a 35 percent chance. As great as Minnesota has been Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson do have their fair share of turnovers. If Green Bay has at least 1 Favre turnover and 1 Adrian Peterson lost fumble the Packers get the big 64 percent edge.

The biggest thing about his game, I've said it in other posts but I'll elaborate...

 This game isn't about Favre or Rodgers it isn't about revenge or how GB fans will act towards Favre  all of this is pure media fodder. Let's talk real football...

 the current version of GB packers this season and last are so close to being a great team!  However I don't know how  if it could be more apparent that are in severe need of better pass protection.  I love Aaron Rodgers and think he is one of the very best and most Skilled QB's out there.  But time and time again when GB plays against above average teams pass protection is a huge problem for them.

Rodgers ability can only get the team so far with the pitiful line play I've seen time and time again against quality teams.  This is also lot of the reason I love betting GB when they are going against teams with a less potent D line and D overall.  In these cases I just know Rodgers and Co. will have a huge day through the air, I loved them @ STL  and @ Clev. 

In this case give me Jared Allen and the Minny D line, I'm so impressed with what they can bring to the table and they have been so effective against teams with any questions at O line.  I don't care how they look against Pitt, I'm really glad they lost the game cause otherwise this spread would be a pickem and the masses would probably push it to -1 Minn. 

To Sum it up:

Minn has huge advantage in the trenches its easier to look at the QB's , WR's and talk about all what the media talks about, but none of that means anything if a team can't win up front.  Nothing is a lock but we've seen a lot of examples of GB losing in this fashion and Minn winning in this fashion. 

Minn +3 one of my top 3 this week

dont over think it guys brett favre played in that field for 16 seasons with the packers.. and yes he is playing.. vokings  win this one streight up

Who's this talking? Are you also Coltsalltheway? Because if you are you're playing both sides and will come back next week telling us how great you are, pattin' yourself on the back and that we're all dumb and should have listened to you.

BreakaBookie I think this is the one game that Favre playing outside of a Dome doesn't matter.  I think he's pretty familiar playing outside at Lambeau Field and knows how to win there!  Green Bay has exactly piled up quality wins so far this year...take a look at who Green Bay has beaten this year.  I think Minnesota wins and covers again!
