Green Bay has been playing lights-out since the Minnesota loss. Admittedly, that was merely Cleveland and Detroit.

Rodgers will be rattled before making adjustments, as Spitz and Clifton are banged up. J Allen and company will have their expected pressures and at least five sacks.

Still, with A Winfield not suiting up, and the Vikings D playing rather moderate as it is on the road to date, I give the impressive Packers receiving corps the edge here. They have some relative unknowns that'll creep up on Minnesota today.

Green Bay did a brilliant job of neutralizing Adrian Peterson last time out, and with Berrian also a question mark, the Vikings weaponry is limited. Packers will have a far more convenient game plan to manage than Minnesota.

Vikings can't win 3 consecutive vs this division rival, can they?

Favre will play just as good as he did when he faced GB.  He played that game as if he knew the defense and I'm pretty sure he does.  Plus they are coming off a loss so expect them to be hungry for a win.  I see Allen giving Rodgers another roller coaster ride.  Plus Adrian Peterson will now turn up the heat and rush over 100 yards with at least 1 TD.  Winfield may be out but their defense is still good.  I like the Over in this game as well.

you ppl talk as the vikings have no chance of playing outside the dome...they have only played 3 games ((reg)) in the dome...4 outside ...and favre has played alot more outside the dome ...in GB ....i have never been a person to believe in this dome crap ....all these players have played outside 90% of their football life...high school ...college... so dont go saying the vikings cant play outside ....something to remember being the MINNESOTA VIKINGS ...after the game and practice .... during the week they walk around in shorts and t-shirts here in minnesota ...its still hot here ...we dont bring out our jackets until its 30 below ....

This is a tough game to cap....my 2 cents. This game will come down to gb oline vs min dline. If they give Rodgers time, he will tear up the vikes depleted secondary. I don't think the dline will do what it did in the previous game based on the field & just the second time around deal. I think Peterson can run on any field & it will be up to Capers to have the young but good linebackers ready to make their tackles. With all of this being said I will take the Vikes +3(1u).GLTA!

I really do see this series being split here, with each home team getting the W.  Pulbic is all over Vikes +3 yet line has added juice to the -3.  Pack played tough in taht game in minny, and now that they are home Rogers will have less pressure.  I see a GB win, but the spread might be a push.

Minny shoulda lost to SF in week 3 if it weren't for miracles.
Then they beat CLE DET STL, who GB also beat

Then Minny gave up 31 pts in 2nd half against BAL two weeks ago (correct me if i'm wrong) to squeak out a W at home!

After that, they went into Pitt heads down knowing they were going to lose, although they played capable enough to win, still walked out defeated like each player had anticipated...

Now this game?

GB routed their lesser opponents (STL CLE DET) as Minny did, but held them to 20 combined (Minny held them to 40)

GB won week 1 in what was supposed to be a great game against Chicago, until Urlacher went down, although Bears still played well.

Next week, GB played well against a highly underated Cincinatti squad (now 5th in power rankings) but couldn't get the win

 Then they lost to the Vikings, but kept it close.

Vikings 21 - Packers 24, MIN wins ATS +3.5 Favre already beat his former team and the Vikes are the better team. The 'revenge' factor will not come into play, except to drive the public bets to Green Bay

I think Farve folds outdoors... just my opinion....

 

he folded in GB during the playoffs against the Giants, he blew that game...

I watched him fold last year during every cold game.... I know his shoulder had soemthign to do with it, but a 40 year old man whose been beaten up for years is going to show during this game... and the cold will affect his shoulder lol

I'm with coltsalltheway on this one, Vikes +3 is just too good to pass up.  I think you either have to take the Vikes +3 or no play.  3 of the packers 4 wins are against the rams, lions and browns. I'll take Vikings +3 all day thank you very much.
