2 good teams just going at it.  I wouldn't play either one.  Personaly I would just take over 45.5.   MInn and score and Pitt can score.  and both have good defenses.  I'm thinking a 30-25 type of game.

I'll take minny here at +4 before the points drop. small play on the vikings moneyline.
 
I can't stand the steelers, so hopefully minnesota rides the momentum from the ravens win.

I DEFINITELY like the Steelers in this one!!! Minnesota is playing their first game OUTDOORS since week 1 when they played at Cleveland in NICE 75/80 degree temperature, now they have to play outdoors, more than likely in COLD conditions. Brett Favre is a year older than last year. Can his one year older bones take the cold weather in Pittsburgh? Also, Favre is bound to start taking some hard hits back there & I feel that Pittsburgh just might do that to him.

This is a great cap... and I feel the same way about this game...

last year I watched as the Farve played terrible during the cold games with the JETS.... the year before he couldn't handle the Lambau cold.... his whole career he played in the cold well, but he's 40 now...

plus, we are still waiting for that improv-farve-interception and what better team to do that against than the Steelers with their zone-blitz packages and Harrision coming at him....

Pitt defense will be able to contain AP...

I see a very low-scoring affair...

I agree with dddevin.  Two good offences against each other.  Looks like a good one for the OVER.  Plus pitt's D has not been able to hold the cover against two sorry teams.

Favre is one year older, I guess he is the only one aging and the rest of us have found the fountain of youth. Favre have the 3rd best qb rating at the moment.He is like fine wine getting better with age.I am hoping the line will get to -6 than I will take the Vikings .. Go Purple !!!!!!!

A lot of people have been saying who have the Vikings beaten? They have beaten two of the same teams that Pitts won. Cleveland and Detroit. Pitts other win was pathetic SD . Pitts ATS is 1-5 (overvalue)
Minn is ATS 4-2.  At Least Vikings have beaten 3 teams that has a winning records in Balt, SF, GB when they face.

This will be a hell of a game!  I'm taking the Vikings +4 after seeing the game against the ravens and thinking about the situation a bit.

I'm on the Minny train for now with the way Favre and Peterson are playing. I'll take +4 and expect them to win outright. I'm not buying this cold temp talk about Favre...

Pitt is good but they aren't covering ATS

I'll be on the over here.  The Favre/Peterson one-two punch is getting it done on that side of the ball, and I'm not inclined to bet the other way because it's cold outside.  The Minnesota secondary leaves something to be desired, especially with Winfield out for this game.  Big Ben to Hines all day.  And Mendenhall is a madman right now.  45 looks like a manageable over to me.  2 units.

Minny seems like the clear choice, we need to factor in the weather (although brett is no stranger to cold weather)

Im interested to see what the public is doing with this line. if every1 is on Minny by Sat i would stay away...

Favre won't have to pass much. Vikings good running game and defense. At +3.5, If Steelers steal this with a FG the Vikes still cover.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

well I guess your entitled to your opinion.... but I've had a pretty good year so far minus last week... the Giants killed me but the Ravens saved me and I hit on the Monday Night Over again...

I watched Farve unfold last year during the COLD WEATHER... like when he went to Seattle in the cold weather, and against Miami the game I was at, and when he shit the bed against buffalo.... he just wasn't the same in the cold weather as he was earlier in his career....

this will be his first test outdoors, let's see how he does.... agianst a quality defense on the road I think he will turn the ball over and Pitt will cover...

Pitt is rolling right now and I don't think Minn will stop them at home....

Pitt can't hold Favre and Petterson down. The Vikings have them outmanned on offense and defense. This one is not close.
