Good points but remember, The Pats dont have to through the ball very much with that terrible run defense of the Jets. They might pound the run. New England is also doing well against the run. I wouldnt trust in Sanchez to pick apart NE's vulnerable secondary and also the Pats have a new weopon in the pass defense.

I respect your style mellowman, but I am going to strongly disagree with you on the "Gronkowski will not be missed" comment. In the last two matchups versus the Jets, the Gronkanator has absolutely killed the Jets, leading the team in targets, receptions, and touchdowns. Below are his numbers in the previous two meetings vs the Jets:
20 Targets, 14 Receptions, 191 Yards, and 4 Touchdowns
Did you know that out Ron Gronkowski has accounted for 45% of Tom Brady's touchdowns going back to week 1 of last year. Thats 27 out of Brady's last 60 TDs. Gronk has also accounted for nearly half of Brady's TDs this year (10 of 21).
So I am sure Tom Brady will disagree with your statement as well. You take away a quarterback's favorite weapon, you take away two starting guards (Mankins and Connolly), and you have a recipe for a competitive game against the Jets.
I am not a huge believer in this Jet team either, but they did play the Pats very tough at Gillete Stadium exactly 1 month ago today. Yeah, they looked horrible at Seattle, but don't forget the Pats lost at Seattle earlier in the year too. Its a tough place to play! And I think the team was emotionally hung over from the near win at Gillette Stadium when they got their asses kicked at home by Miami prior to their bye week. I like the Jets coming in with good momentum, and the Pats missing their favorite redzone weapon with only 3 days to conjure up a scheme on how to replace Gronkowski's production.
