I wouldn't be so sure about that. Noone gives Philly a chance without McNabb today. Just like noone gave Raiders or Buffalo last Monday Night. Well we all know what happened there.

Barring any crazy unforseen shit I believe the Ain'ts should pull it out. It scares me however that 70% of the public is on them. Basically, you are as good as your QB and well Drew Brees > Kevin Kolb. Plus not that this necessarily means anything but the Saint's have won the last two matchups with the Eagles and it doesn't help having Mcnabb riding the pine today.

Well I took Saints -1. Going into this, I felt like New Orleans has arguably the best offense in the NFL. While I respect the Philly D, they are not elite. But, the real x factor was Kolb. This reminded me a lot of the Titans/Bears game last year after Orton (who had been playing well) got injured and in came Rex Grossman. The line was Titans -2 I believe, which was ridiculous. "Have they never seen Grossman play?" I asked myself. Here's a bad QB playing against an elite D. Seemed like a no brainer. I didn't think Kolb was as bad as Grossman, but he's bad. And, while the Saints D was suspect, it doesn't really matter because the offense is a machine. Philly's only hope was scoring defensive and special teams touchdowns. But, I wasn't going to hold my breath on that one.
Look for a similar play if by chance Favre ever gets injured and they start Tarvaris Jackson. Another terrible QB who can single handedly lose games for an otherwise quality team. And please don't bring up the Arizona game. The Cards slept last December after they clinched. They made Tarvaris look like Joe Montana when he's closer to Joe Mantegna.
