Taking San Fran +5 FTW!!!  This Sunday night games got me on tilt with that B.S. over hitting on a horse shit fumble and then Eli going for the meaningless score to Hakeem Nicks.  Anyways, enough venting on that garbage.  49'ers will be pumped w/ the home crowd assisting them in keeping this one close and possibly taking it outright from the defending Super Bowl Champs.

After a dominating performs by the home team on sunday night i look forward to seeing the home dog cover in a tight one on monday night.  San Fran got embarrassed in seattle and they will be ready to play on monday night.  The saints didn't look very impressive against the vikings and they have a long trip to the west coast.  I think the saints win in a close one 28-24.

Nothing is easy as it seems. You will be thinking 49ers gave up a whole bunch of points to seahawk; why not the famous Saints? You are wrong. The saints will have trouble passing the 49ers defensive line. This game will stay low.

Still not sure on this game, I'm gonna see how the line moves here throughout the day leading up to tonight. I can see a ton of money being thrown on the public Saints leading up to gametime as people try to make back any losses on Sunday by backing the defending SB champs.

My book has SF at +5.5 right now but I'm going to wait until close to game time to see if I can get SF at +6 or even +7. I'm not really sold on SF in this spot at anything less than +6, so it's gonna be a no play for me unless the line moves in SF's favour.

All I'm saying is that if you like the Saints, lock it in now - but if you're leaning SF, wait to put your bet in until right before game time and hope you can get some extra points.

Beware the mon nite homedog. Iron mike gets em rolling. Also this week has been full of bounce back and let down games followind either a tough loss or a big win. Victims of the letdown, Ten, NE, Balt, Sea, Giants, Jax, Hou- should have lost but pushed in most areas...Bounceback...Jets, Indy, Den, Cincy, SD, Atl, Cle and Philly almost got there. SFran was torched last week and killed themselves. Primetime lights = the large for SFRAN.

"San Francisco was blasted in the media following the anemic offensive performance in Seattle, and head coach Mike Singletary went nuts after being questioned about a Yahoo! story that said there was dissention between the offensive coaches. Singletary said there is a “rat” and “coward” in the 49ers locker room as the online story quoted an unnamed source. "

Saints for me. San Fran's O-line is already real shaky, with two rookies starting,and now the Center, Heitmann is out.  If it's even close, it'll be because of their defense, but i'm still taking the over too. If Seattle can put up 31 on them you gotta figure the Saints are good for 42.

Is this line a little suspect to anyone else  Only at 5, no sir I dont like it. I mean where do the Saints not match up, they ran well in the second half against a stout viks run d and 9ers secondary is... well, sub par. The Saints d is consistently under rated and if Frank Gore doesn't step it up from last week and matches his week one performance, 9ers cant win. I will recant my first post, and go against the HTD rule plus the line didn't move like I thought it would. I think it will be closer than people think but Saint cover... count it!

-5.5. points is A sensative number.  Too much can happen. I'd be more incline to make a bet if the number was 7. This number is telling me that the oddsmakers understandably know that the 49ers are most capable of scoring and keeping it close. If you are thinking that the Saints will win and cover, you apparently haven't thought out the scenarios that would be in the 49ers favor. I think there will be several FG's made on both sides in this game that will spoil A cover by the Saints. The only way the Saints will cover is an absolute blowout. Even if the score is tied late in the fourth, the Saints are not going to risk low percentage plays--including bombing for the endone. All they need is A simple FG to win and that my friends isn't a cover.

Saints struggled offensively with Vikings and will be out to prove some offense. I would think the game will go too lopsided. The 49'rs Defense responds to 'Coach Drop your Pants' but can the talent deal with Brees and his tuned machine?

I also really don't think the sort of motivation the 49'rs have on defense works with such a lame offensive plan. At some point this year the 49'rs will learn to correct this. Just not in one week. 

On the other hand the coaching and play calling for the Saints is top of the line. They will be prepared and out to prove some offense. 

I like bigger games, players don't have the sleep problems that make them look ahead to the next game. 

Saints -5.5 Medium to Large + parlay opportunity with MLB LA Angels. Might even add the Yankees with a backup 2 way.
