I ignore all the reverse betting psych, the emotional bounce back, the they don't want to be embarrassed, the showcase the off on MNF talk when I pick, but I love to read it!

First of all for some of you...
Home dog on MNF is over. That was like in the 70's and 80's, adjustments have been made and the stats show it.

Looking at the gm, Niners have solid rush Def but the problem is 49ers secondary and pass D.
They are down to 4 CBs (released rookie Brock, James has ankle injury) Shawtae Spencer will be targeted by NO tonight. They gave up 170 yds to Sea Hawk's Hasselbeck last gm.
(Saints were #4 in passing last yr.)

Singletary has been ranting during an interview on KPIX "We will not try to stop Drew Brees. We will stop Drew Brees. We will not try to move the ball against the New Orleans defense. We will move the ball on the Saints defense and we will score"

I'm sure they will post that in the NO locker room tonight.

49ers couldn't even get the right plays called down to Smith last week and had to change the way they name them to a 2 digit code that Smith has taped to his forearm.

Yes they were picked to win the NFC West but that was by default since Seattle and Rams are in the Div and they just lost to Seattle huge.

  Cool bud. Yeah I was there '79-'83 when Art (the gambler ha) was the QB and king of campus. You were there much later I bet. I ran track (300 meter) and got to know much of the football team, Marcus Marek (linebacker), Doug Donnelly ("White Lightning" who I ran track with) and Art to name a few. I still have a few practice jerseys I snagged from the French Field house where we practiced togther when it rained heavily. In those days, we could also get into the stadium on Sundays and play frisbee football or kick field goals. This was of course after a night of partying cuz we rarely lost a game with Art. USC was almost our only loss in the Rose Bowl a couple times in 4 yrs.

Good luck tonight as it's about kickoff. Hope my 1H -3 Saints covers...or at least pushes.

Heads up!  After the seattle loss when the 49ers got back to san fran no one went home!!!   Singletary lectured then made everyone watch film and and run that night!  Singletary is a hard ass just like Ditka and he doesn't liked to be embarrassed.

49ers play hard and with a new spirit, their defense WILLshow up tonite!!!

I hope so... They wanna get paid right? They were supposedly ready for Seattle also. And I'm sure the Saints high scoring offense will also show up and get paid.

Ya noticed. That was the reason for the first half -3
I hope the NFL inst like the NBA. catch my drift- how Sterns favored certain teams through the refs.
