Call me crazy but 11.6 seems low to me
I'll take NO to cover here
It snowed most of the day in DC on Sat. Weather is cold. Damp field condiitons may hamper NO's high powered offense.
NOTE...NO defense is missing 4 starters.
Wash at home a better team than on road.
I think the whodat's win this one but the number says bet the home team.
'Skins cover the nut here

Washington mite win...but will absolutely cover. This will be the sucker bet of the day with everyone watching the saints destroy the most overrated defense in football and think their book is gonna hand them free money. Classic monday night winner let down but in this case the winner is undefeated and just beat pats...there is no way the saints cover this game. washington lately... not to much to play for.. so this will be superbowl sunday for them so expect the skins to redline the engine and play the saints to the wire. watched too many nfl games not to sniff this upset or at least an automatic cover coming from miles away. Washington 31 saints 28...Lip

I agree.
If ever there were such a thing as a "letdown game", this scenario would be its definition. NO is on a short week after the throttling they gave the Patriots. You get so hyped for that game, its hard to figure how you get hyped for this one.
For all the Redskins aren't.....they still play pretty good defense. And what is the offensive strategy for Washington in this one? It really needs to be time of possession. If you can't stop Drew Brees........keep him on the sidelines. Do not allow him to get into a rhythm. Frustrate him by not allowing him to be on the field. Run, Run and run some more. I don't care if its Portis, or Betts, or Cartwright, or Campbell himself. RUN for first downs. Keep your defense fresh (they're gonna need it). And give yourself a chance.
REDSKINS + 9.5

Just want to add some personal thoughts on this game...
i'm not a sainters hater nor a bandwagon jumper = i picked saints to go to the bowl ever since i seen that preseason 40 pointer... even though that was only preseason against the raiders i believe? i still seen it gelling together for brees/saints...
with that said; i do believe the crappy skins which i absolutely hate- do cover here... only because of a few personal opinion/debatable/highly speculative reasons:
1- this would be the greatest thing for the skins organization to take down the almighty saints, especially after such a high profile win on MNF against americas team (no not the cowboys, the pats)
2- the saints really do not want to expose EVERY play/gameplan they have, just so other teams can't watch "more" tape on them & study for upcoming playoffs = they have to save a little for upcoming matchups; thus i think saints bring their "B" package gameplan here- which could easily still torch the skins. (ex: more standard run game, less all outness down the field... saints just looking for a decent win & no injuries going into final stretch)
3- "ANY GIVEN SUNDAY" scenerio. (remember i'm just talking possible cover, not so much SU win)
4- the skins do have a semi-semi decent defense (@ home) & can cause some possible incompletes or ints (which brees is capable of)
5- road/outside/cold/grass game
6- as much as i hate campbell QB, he "can" complete 13yd passes for 1st downs "IF" he is given pass protection (proved that last week vs eagles... which i got burned on eagles parlay last week ;) hehe
7- all it takes is a couple of fluke kickoff runbacks or pass int-flags for a backdoor cover, which happens all the time (getting 9.5)
8- game switched to national tv in last 2 days (ratings- usually means close and/OR exciting game = thus very possible spread cover)
9- blowouts on nat tv are bad for the NFL & networks (as a whole). Rich Eisen alluded to 3 times in past 4 weeks - that the NFL does not "understand" what a dog or favorite is!lol... (most definitely instructed by the comissioner, which can only imply that the new commisioners mindset is to create more evenly viewed matchups, which means better competativeness (either by flag or other)... thats just my take on the comments -and my friend also thought same thing when we heard them... again its speculative but worth mentioning, considering how many dog-upsets we see nowadays?haha
10- one or two very possible turnovers in redzone can equal a cover (also remember the steelers put up over 500 yds offense/ double the TOP/double the first downs AND lost the game outright vs KC, nevermind cover the 10!!!)... stuff like that does happen to dd favs when u least expect it... 500 yds offense & only 24 points & lost to kc...lmfao
*bonus 11- this is easily the redskins superbowl and "could" get the skins pumped up at home....
hahaha, true, the skins still could easily get torched with brees on bench...lol
BUT what i like about this matchup is the UNDER!... i refuse to let myself take the skins under any circumstances, but i do think the under is a viable play... i'm mean just stop & think for a second = if the saints game didn't go over 52 last MNF AT HOME ON TURF with all the hype, going up against a well anticipated Patriots team, the there is a value-chance on this cold-outdoor game @ redskins, on grass, with the mono-dimensional redskins gameplans (tic tic tic)... i'm just sayin that when you have a skins team that rarely goes deep & would rather keep saints offense off the field as much as possible (skins coaching assumption), then you do have a recipe for a tic tic tic under 48...
sure, could easily be a saints route even with a redzone turnover, but i'm just saying- last week at home everything worked in saints favor, on turf, & game could have stayed around the 50 mark as it did... just sayin... (& lets not forget kicker carney, who could EASILY miss another fg in this game - outdoors)... he was shakey on ex points also, so i won't rule out another missed saints fg here...
not any expert, just my thoughts on the possible UNDER and/or cover... just trying to breakdown this matchup without the usual stat-filled #s, and more of a Reality angle... i'm not a self-proclaimed expert, but not a newcommer to the NFL...
just food for thought anyway, enjoy it or just scroll pass it, but either way just remember this: sports with odds/spreads ARE Fickle sometimes, and the spreads almost always employ sick-reverse-psychology...hehe ;)
but i'm still taking the under 48...haha
GLall
& lets go Pitt-AZ-Manning!!!

JUST HOW I EXPECTED THE SAINTS TO START. SURPRISED ON THE SCORE FOR THE SKINS. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY'VE DONE IN THE LATER QUARTERS FOR PAST GAMES? THE SKINS ARE AT THE POINT WHERE I PREDICTED THEM TO HAVE ALL GAME. SCORELESS 3rd and 4th QUARTER? MAYBE FOR THE SKINS. SAINTS DONT GO SCORELESS IN THE LATER HALF. IF ANYTHING THEY WILL TURN IT UP. (808ALLDAY) BUTTAFOOCO WUZUP DAWG?
