Two things I really, really like... Playing the NYGiants as road dogs and watching the Cowboys lose.

This could be a great MNF game for me.

NYG/DAL OVER (1unit): too close to call on win, but the total should fly over 44.5 nearing the 60 pt. range.

Without a running game Romo should be in for a long night against the Giants D.

  • Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

Too many people are picking the Cowbillies to win this game, why? I guess hype works! BTW I'am mad Bradshaw is #3 in the NFL in rushing, a one headed monster.

Cowboys -3.5                   under 44.5

Dallas seeking their first home win of the season. Coming off back to back losses and playing on Monday night, this just might be a good spot for big D to get a "W".

Cowboys  -   Under.  Dallas is 9-1 home off SU loss vs opponent off SU win.

Good call and reasoning.  Dallas seeking their first home victory.  Off two big losses that have put them in a deep hole.  Players know if they drop this and go 1-5 overall, 0-2 in NFC East, and 0-3 in NFC conference...they're season is realistically done.  Yes, they are buried deep yet still realize if they play up to their abilites and make a run now, things change fast.  With a loss here they are completely screwed even in the eyes of the most faithful Cowboy fans.

It all boils down to we are gonna see the best effort the Boys have in them.  Is that enough to limit the ridiculous penalties?  Remains to be seen.   And the Giants are just as aware they can put an end to a NFC East rival they have no love lost for.  I'd assume they come out intense as well.   But being fired up typically doesn't match 'do or die' intensity.  Whole season on the line for the Boys in this spot...Dallas takes it at home.

My bad...a loss here would drop Big D to 0-4 in NFC conference.  Lotta teams battling for wildcard in the conference.  And IMO, Dallas' only chance is to win the NFC East.  If they were to ever salvage hope, this is the spot and they know it.

Reason for penalties? Lack of talent/discipline. You can't change that overnight, no matter how much you want too. When the Cowbillies commit a penalty, who do they fear when they walk to the sideline? When Parcells was there it was him, do you think they fear Wade? They are stars they fear no one.

Cowbillies have no discipline and have no heart. The heart it takes to dig deep and come up with that extra that makes you a champion. Giants loss their discipline against Tenn. Coughlin came down on them and they are playing better. Just watch Eli pull Dallas off sides with a hardcount, no discipline.

This thing about Dallas needs this game, they needed the last one. I think this game sets up nice for NY. I hope Jenkins is on Nicks. No one on Dallas has yet covered Smith which leaves Manningham and Boss. Plus the #3 ball carrier in the NFL plus points.

Osi is #2 in sacks and #1 in forced fumbles. All of his sacks but one resulted in fumbles.

The lack of discipline will without a doubt cost the Cowpokes the game again this week and probably their season. Seems the players are not responding to that marshmallow of a coach over there.

Division rivalry. The Giants will run the ball. Dallas has to stop the run and run it themselves too. Everyone knows where the other guy is gonna be on both teams. Not  a lot of fireworks in this one. Taking the under based upon amount of possessions and familiarity with schemes.

There is no way the Giants are going to run the ball up and down the field.  Dallas D is going to light up Eli.  The only thing that can beat the Cowboys is themselves (penalties).  I'm going to do the only thing I know that might help the cowboys win, picks the giants. Very time I choose the Cowboys, they lose.  I HATE MYSELF....GO giants?

I am leaning toward the over here as well. I doubt dallas has the heart to win and NY beat them there last year on their opener...

Love the Cowboys and hate the Giants but I'm a realist. Stay away from Dallas...

I remember a Dallas Cowbilly fan calling into a talk show just after the first Dallas/NY last year "We stopped that big mouth Jacobs" and the host said yeah but you got burned by the pass. Put 11 in the box, who covers Nicks? Jenkins? God i hope so.

I HATE Dallas, as a team and some of their fans (not all).  But I'd have to go with them at home against the Giants.
