Good call and reasoning. Dallas seeking their first home victory. Off two big losses that have put them in a deep hole. Players know if they drop this and go 1-5 overall, 0-2 in NFC East, and 0-3 in NFC conference...they're season is realistically done. Yes, they are buried deep yet still realize if they play up to their abilites and make a run now, things change fast. With a loss here they are completely screwed even in the eyes of the most faithful Cowboy fans.
It all boils down to we are gonna see the best effort the Boys have in them. Is that enough to limit the ridiculous penalties? Remains to be seen. And the Giants are just as aware they can put an end to a NFC East rival they have no love lost for. I'd assume they come out intense as well. But being fired up typically doesn't match 'do or die' intensity. Whole season on the line for the Boys in this spot...Dallas takes it at home.
NY will be ready here are defense is on a roll now and has been for the past 3 wks besides this is big blue 1st division game and they will be ready for weak D in DALLAS not taking no shots but look at what they been doing all year losing and not putting up much points at all, they have play makers but NY is clearly the better team all arount wach and see MNF ML GIANTS here!

Ok....First off....The Giants are hands down the better team...by record... No question. Giants are better coached. Giants have a better disciplined team.
HOWEVER.....Dallas will come to play. Dallas has the 3rd ranked Offense, and 4th ranked Defense. They have averaged 81 ypg in Penalties...Remember....Dallas held the Vikings to a total of 188 yards of offense.....NOT BAD!
Everyone thinks that the Giants will simply ROLL the Cowgirls...but I am afraid that the Dallas will come to play, and give the Giants all they want....and then some. IF Dallas can control their penalties.....that could be a HUGE advantage...and if they could have controlled them in previous games....I think their outlook at this point in the season would be totally different...perhaps 4-1.
PLUS-With the negativity on the Cowboys....with their losing record, undisciplined behavior on the field, and the Giants winning record, and their recent domination over Chicago (at Home) but barely getting past Detroit....(cough, cough) and Tennessee beating both teams....(Cowgirls hug in a tighter game)...with NY facing a BYE week next week.....I am giving the edge to the......
COWBOYS -2.5
Also......for those of you willing to bet your life on the Giants....just ask youself a couple of questions.......
1. Look what happened to the Saints today....against CLEVELAND!!!! OAKLAND against Denver........
2. Is your life worth living....
If you have an answer the the two questions above....then dont take the Giants.....
OH YEA>>>>>>And I am byNO MEANS a DALLAS fan..nor a GIANTS fan....so spare me your homer rants and raves....I could care less.
Watch for it!

After this game the Cowbillies/Giants get to do it all over again 20 days later, in Jersey. My son got us tickets for it, my first visit to the new stadium. Who will be favored then?
Recent Trends to Consider:
Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Over is 6-2-1 in the last 9 meetings.
Giants are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home
record.
Giants are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as a road underdog of
0.5-3.0.
Giants are 11-3-1 ATS in their last 15 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0.
Cowboys are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Monday games.
Cowboys are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite of 0.5-3.0.
Cowboys are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
Cowboys are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. NFC.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Love the way you shave 1/2 point from your predictions. Must not be too sure. I don't see anyone with 2.5. More like Dal-3 -125. I think you are not too confident.

this game eerily resembles the Pats/Chargers game....
far better team getting 3.5 points on the road against a familiar foe....
Dallas has the better numbers on offense and defense (like the chargers).... yet the visiting opponent has a much better record....
the better team covered due to better coaching in that matchup....
I figure I'll apply spytheweb's logic with the coaching and discipline edge and take the Gmen
Bradshaw is a beat.... Jacobs always plays well against the Cowboys...?
Eli is Mr. October..... and Romo has always played awful against the Giants....
I'll take the points.... (it's actaully way too late I took this game last week wednesday lol)
oh, the offensive coordinator for the Cowboys should be fired.... he's awful
GL TO ALL.....
I just want to add that I feel bad for Dolphins fans lol..... and that's coming from a JETS fan
Was Up BAB?
I like everything you said but question Brandon Jacobs. When was the last game you saw that BJacobs look good against anyone. The guy has lost a step. Now with the No Helmet to Helmet Hit rule is being enforced, does brandon run standing straight up or dive into the ground? Thats how he runs. HEAD FIRST! Bradshaw May have some luck but he is no Christopher Johnson. The Running Game will be enough to st up play action pass attack and Eli Manning does it better than anyone. By the way, YES, today as well as yesterdays games proves one thing that we all should remember. IT STARTS W/ THE COACHES! In this meeting, G-men,s Coordinators from both sides of the ball has the advantage.
GMEN - 31
COWBOYS - 21
By the way, I am seriously worried about my team. Hopefully they can turn it around with Bush coming back next game and Thomas shortly after that. They are a perfect example of an unbalanced team. No run game will make you 1 dimensional and predictable. Most of Manings picks were tipped balls that should have been caught. Romo is easily read by teams w/ good pass defense and GMen are #1 in creating TO's

I'll take the points here tonight. This game should come down to the wire like most of the Dallas games have this year. I'll take the hook on my side instead of trying to climb over it. I do like the over tonight as well. This game should look a lot like the game last night. I think I'll pound the over tonight and play a small two team parlay on the Giants and over.

There are 2 reasons to take the Giants here. For 1 the Cowboys are a mess. Wade stinks and it's rubbing off a la Norv Turner. Secondly divisional road dogs giving 3 or 3.5 are a good bet.The Giants actually covered in the same spot last season. The do or die factor usually gives that team a bit more energy but you could say the same last week for the boys and they pulled the same old nonsense. I think the Giants win straight up. The Cowboys just know how to lose.

The Cowboys got swept last year and can happen again this year. They got a new stadium, loyal fans, and talent. All of those won't help them. The main ingredient for them to win is change their attitude.
I DON'T NORMALLY BET ON ANY DALLAS GAME SINCE THE 80s
Giants & over

There is no way the Giants are going to run the ball up and down the field. Dallas D is going to light up Eli. The only thing that can beat the Cowboys is themselves (penalties). I'm going to do the only thing I know that might help the cowboys win, picks the giants. Very time I choose the Cowboys, they lose. I HATE MYSELF....GO giants?
win win situation, works all the time. Fade your team for big bucks. What happens is your club comes out smashing!
